Thank you for the video.A lot of other tutorials missed the step with the plastic clip, maybe it is obvious but not for me, it helped immensely. This is the most complete tutorial for replacing the power window mechanism on TH-cam if anyone is wondering. Also it is largely the same for the Punto mk2.Cheers
My punto passenger side window opens from drivers side control panel but the drivers side window doesn't open. But I can hear the relay clicking in the fusebox. Does anyone know if this is the issue.
Did you find out the fix? My girlfriends car (drivers side) makes clicking sounds and motor seems to not grab onto the window itself. Hoping it’s an easy fix…
You shouldn't cut the orange plastic strip at th-cam.com/video/8cfjlZmBaRg/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared&t=198 !! The strip is flexible, so you just need to bend it to lock to fix the window in place..

Hi. Why did you cut this plastic clip/plastic strip? I assumed that this element supported the door glass.
You're right. The strip shouldn't be cut, just bend it.

yes it was a loose connection in the door on a connector. I can't remember if I took door card off. I know it was somewhere in the middle of the door.
