I like a lot powerwolf but please don't compare it with Sabaton. Sabaton are fuckin amazing, Power wolf is pretty good but they have a problem, if u dig in their discography u'll see that in the end all songs sound more or less the same and after a while gets a bit boring. Sabaton are just fuckin amazing. Btw, what about doing some Kamelot? Very good power metal also😁

Powerwolf is just amazing. Your reaction was priceless. 😂 I saw them in Helsinki couple years ago in Nosturi which is quite small venue. And it was just amazing. One of the greatest show I've ever been.
Powerwolf is the most fun Power Metal band out right now. The holy werewolf/vampire/crusader angle is a hoot, but they are really a good band underneath all that. Very catchy, great vocals, always solid solid production. Everything from Lupus Dei onward is as good as what you saw here (the album version of this song is just a bit better, in my opinion). They basically have one style, but what they do, they do really well. It's hard to pick a favorite, but Amata Strigoi is really good, as is Let There Be Night (both from their most recent album.)
Another ultra-catchy and super-euphoric Powermetal request: BEAST IN BLACK !!! Songs: "Beast in Black" and "Blind and Frozen" I am pretty sure you will dig them, they just released their debut album.

yeah, finaly! I#ve been waiting quite some time for this! I just saw them live last saturday. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. 3 norwegian prog metal bands for ya: Pagan's Mind, Circus Maximus and Leprous. Pagan's Mind: I guess progressive power metal is a more correct term. Pretty spacey, very melodic and insanely talented guys. Check out Intermission (with my favourite solo ever), Resurrection (Back in Time), Osiris' Triumphant Return, New World Order, Eyes on Fire or God's Equation. Circus Maximus: Also somewhat power metal influenced, but they're more progressive/aor. Also ridiculously talented naturally. Even more melodic than Pagan's Mind tbh. Check out Architect of Fortune, Last Goodbye, Loved Ones, After the Fire, Burn After Reading, Chivalry, The Weight or Remember. Leprous: Pretty damn unique. I've heard them described as a modern prog metal band, and I guess that's pretty accurate. You can't really compare them to the two bands above at all though. Check out Slave (Live at Rockefeller Music Hall), Rewind, Red, The Valley, Third Law, Acquired Taste, The Cloak, Painful Detour, Illuminate, From the Flame, The Weight of Disaster, The Price or Coma. The guitarists in both Pagan's Mind (Jørn Viggo Lofstad) and Circus Maximus (Mats Haugen) has become two of my favourites. The same goes for vocalist in Leprous, Einar Solberg. He's friggin' amazing and you're in for a treat.

#HEYGUYS!!! You should listen to Blow Your Trumpet Gabriel by Behemoth. They're a fucking amazing band, they sound a bit like Belphegor but a MILLION time better. They're a Death/Black Metal band with some symphonic elements.
I understand, Belphegor is a really boring band, I listened to 3 of their albums and I was bored as hell. What I meant was that they have a similar sound, but Behemoth's vocals are WAY better, their sound is less chaotic but still very heavy.

Powerwolf and Sabaton are a really good combo. Like live on the Power of Metal tour, where I could enjoy both bands. But you may try Powerwolf - Sanctified With Dynamite / Sanctus Dominus. Those two are the first songs that came to my mind when you asked for more good stuff of Powerwolf.
You guys should check out Avantasia - Scarecrow. Or if you want to hear something new, then i can recommend Van Canto - Badaboom. Van Canto is acapella metal with just voices and drums. They also did cover of Primo Victoria from Sabaton with Joakim as a guest.

I've never heard Powerwolf before, because I'm not into power metal, but that song was so catchy I couldn't get it out of my head. I was just walking around the camp singing "amen and attack, attack, attack..." My favorite Powerwolf song is a bit of an obscure song entitled “Extatum Et Oratum”. Powerwolf is one of the most melodic power metal groups. It really strange the different way people hear things. I don’t hear any similarity between Atilla Doran’s voice and Joakim Brodén Of Sabaton. I like both groups though. Brodén sings in a deeper voice and his German accent is much thicker in his English. I think that Atilla Dorn has a higher range than Joakim Brodén, at least based on what I have heard from both singers, but I haven’t heard all of their music. This song wasn’t really the best example of Powerwolf’s signature sound because it had no Latin lines and Atilla never used his operatic voice, like he does in most songs. The opera voice and Gregorian sounding chants are what gives Powerwolf their unique sound, but none of that was used in Army Of The Night. I always tell people that Powerwolf sounds like what Wagner would have composed if he were alive today and went metal. Their music has that very German sound to it (even though Atilla is actually from Romania) Some other Powerwolf songs you will enjoy are: Armata Strigoi Coleus Sanctus Sanctified By Dynamite We Drink Your Blood Mister Sinister (a very old one, but a good one) Amen And Attack

I really like it. Desastre (in Spanish) is one of my favorite tracks of the album, but it is hard to pick one song over another, the album is very good. The vocals in this album add so much darkness to the songs. This album in many ways reminds me of Wolfheart.
Yeah, it's a great album and Moonspell is one of my favorite bands after Amorphis. And that's one of the beauties of metal for me. With Pop, Rap etc. here in Germany you only get to listen to bands from the U.S., Britain and Germany. But Metal is much more international. Scandinavia, Portugal, Tunesia, Israel, if it's metal, chances are that there are german fans of it. And at least in my imagination, it's the same all around the world.

When I was at the Summer Breeze Open Air there were those huge jumbotrons that displayed some commercials between gigs. And there was one that had Powerwolf Amen and Attack in it. I've never heard Powerwolf before, because I'm not into power metal, but that song was so catchy I couldn't get it out of my head. I was just walking around the camp singing "amen and attack, attack, attack..." Until today that was the only Powerwolf song I knew :)

My favorite Powerwolf song is a bit of an obscure song entitled “Extatum Et Oratum”. Powerwolf is one of the most melodic power metal groups. It really strange the different way people hear things. I don’t hear any similarity between Atilla Doran’s voice and Joakim Brodén Of Sabaton. I like both groups though. Brodén sings in a deeper voice and his German accent is much thicker in his English.
I think that Atilla Dorn has a higher range than Joakim Brodén, at least based on what I have heard from both singers, but I haven’t heard all of their music. This song wasn’t really the best example of Powerwolf’s signature sound because it had no Latin lines and Atilla never used his operatic voice, like he does in most songs.
The opera voice and Gregorian sounding chants are what gives Powerwolf their unique sound, but none of that was used in Army Of The Night. I always tell people that Powerwolf sounds like what Wagner would have composed if he were alive today and went metal. Their music has that very German sound to it (even though Atilla is actually from Romania)

I really like it. Desastre (in Spanish) is one of my favorite tracks of the album, but it is hard to pick one song over another, the album is very good. The vocals in this album add so much darkness to the songs. This album in many ways reminds me of Wolfheart.
Yeah, it's a great album and Moonspell is one of my favorite bands after Amorphis. And that's one of the beauties of metal for me. With Pop, Rap etc. here in Germany you only get to listen to bands from the U.S., Britain and Germany. But Metal is much more international. Scandinavia, Portugal, Tunesia, Israel, if it's metal, chances are that there are german fans of it. And at least in my imagination, it's the same all around the world.
I agree with that Metal is a much more universal music and there are less geographic boundaries to it.
