- Richard Beaumont discovered a wonderful gem in the film archives. Randy Richmond, friend of Ra Uru Hu and Richard gave an interview in 2003 which is aired here in full length for the first time.
Randy was a well-known legend of the early Human Design movement. He speaks of his process as a 6/3 Splenic Projector and shares many important insights about Projectors that you won't find anywhere else. Don't miss this one

I like how he talked about his definition and gates from experience and not just theory. Just like in AA we say "...we share our experience, strength and hope" to help each other and not just preach some good sounding BS.

What a job he got! Being a projector it’s a constant consciousness challenge and exercise. I have to do deep breathing any time I’m at a work meeting where I know the answer to all the problems are being discussed and yet nobody asked me to participate. Oh, gosh! 😂

Thanks Richard, I was fortunate enough to have received a reading from Randy about a year or so before he transitioned. He was so direct, empathetic, humorous, and on point. I'll never forget the first thing he said and stressed to me which was, "you're going to have to learn how to trust life"...being a 6/2 with my Design Sun in the 55.2, this really stuck. I'll keep the recording for my whole life. Great interview, thanks.

Dear dear Randy. I had a reading with him at the start of my experiment. We laughed and laughed. His humour cut right through any ideas I had about 'needing to get this right'. This is a special gift to generators as well. The tag meeting idea is pure genius and has many applications outside of AA. I am still learning to ride my human design bike 😅. I have projected channels and an open throat. I am learning to lean into my listener gate 13. Now I am quiet which actually puts pressure on others to speak and provides space for them to invite the information out of me. Ty so much for this amazing interview video.

Thank you for this... Love and totally understand what he talk about naturally get your type... Waiting was so easy for me and when I found out HD is was AHA this is totally me, everything make sense and gave me even deeper acceptance of my self. I'm Ukrainian, English not my first language, we had very basic English at school. So one of the things that we learned and I used to repeat like mantra in my mid teens and early twenties is "All good things comes to those who waits". Wellll how synchronic! my projector is very strong in me from very early in life 😁❤.
And as I work through my chart, channels, gates and lines more and more AHA moments happen!

I was lucky enough to meet Randy in 1993, about 5 years before Ra came to Sedona, as I recall. We were both in the Profile classes with Ra in Sedona in the 90's and he took to it quickly. I, an Emotional Generator, needed time! Thanks again, Richard, for sharing (and all your content) and best wishes to you.

Thank you for sharing Richard, always great to hear randy. He was pretty serious that day, i saw several interviews when he was joking a lot and it was literally hilarious. The first i saw was when he introduced the ibiza event just after Ra left his vehicle, i found brilliant how he could speak of the lost of his great friend. Wether serious or joking , his sharp mind is very stimulating and of course not only for projectors (MG here) so me too i could listen to him for hours. How lucky you were to know him. I really loved this Richard! I have quite recently discovered your channel here in youtube and I have enyoyed it immensely! What a precious gem this video now was as I am also splenic projector with 1/3 profile though. Randy is so good at holding the authority in his voice.
His story about the early days with alcohol was really helpful as I have struggled with chronic lower back pain for several years now and I have tried to figure out why I was given such a burden. But my inner self is saying that this is something I can gain wisdom right now by experiencing it myself to pass on to others one day as I am still in the beginning of my 30s.

This is my first time learning about Mr Richmond. I am so glad I stumbled upon this video. His insights were so relatable as I am a 3/6 splenic projector who has a background working with populations he also served. I love the way he explains hd concepts and his raw honesty.

I’m a 4.6 splenic project with the channel of surrender. I can really relate to what he’s saying about the spleen giving the right answer after a bit of time. I’m a single def and undefined ajna, but i find often that after talking to someone, when we part ways and I’m going about my day the ‘right’ answer or best guidance comes through spontaneously.

While we have your attention Richard I have a controversial question :). You're such a lovely being that I feel I have heard you almost touch on this without the controversy and maybe you won't want to step here - which I respect. With my sun gate 49 perhaps I am not so lovely :) and an unconscious 43/23. Clearly you are from the school of "certified analysts" and I love your work. I learnt with Chetan and Carola - Evolutionary Human Design. I - as a 1/3 projector want to hear it all and from all perspectives. I have heard you speak of the need to get this information out there now - that it was designed for this time and that it was gifted to us now as we head deeply into our transition of ages - my words there. How do you feel about this "4 years before you can read" reality of the "certified analysts" process. I have also heard such things as "you need to go through 4 years of living with the knowledge of your chart so that you are at least more than half way through a full 7 year cellular renewal". As someone who has spent my entire adult life with gurus or in a meditative evolution it was I thought quite an assertion.
Hi ZenWarrior, Human Design is a treasure trove of information and, of course, those who have some knowledge will share it. It's human nature to try to help those around you with what you know. However the first 7 years are necessary for the first stage of deconditioning, no matter how smart one is or how much inner growth work they've done. There is a shift after about 3.5 years. Doing in-depth readings before the 7 years may touch the other, however the clarity of keynoting at depth comes from, not just the Line interpretation but from the meeting consciously Centers, Gates and Channels, Types and Defintions again and again in others. It is common for students to repeat Ra's words and stories at the beginning before they have met the precise thing they are trying to describe in anothers chart. Experience matters. Finding one's own fluid language to interpret charts also takes time. Unseen conditioning, associations and personal history take time to drop away so that the analyst can cleanly and clearly speak the chart in front of them. It takes practice and breakthrough moments for us to see associations we never noticed before - even in our own chart after years! Finally, Ra used the 7 year stretch for sound biological reasons, as it takes that long for all the cells in our body to be replaced. The truth changes us at a physical level and there is no way to speed that up. And sure, I thought I could do it in a couple of years, many of us did. We were wrong. So that's my view. The skill of chart reading can be learnt. The art of a deep analysis comes out when the adventure is unknown with every person and you are in awe at what comes through you. It takes time. The more years one has in HD the more profoundly one can elucidate in a way that cuts to the core issues to truly help our clients find their own uniqueness and embrace it. :)

Hello, again, Richard! I have a question about something that Randy says during this interview. He makes a reference to the fact that 45 appears in his chart three times. What is the implication? (9 appears three times in my chart; I’m so curious!) Could you talk about this, perhaps, in a soon-to-come video?
Hi Maxximillian, Yes, I'm sure I've mentioned this in some videos. It adds an emphasis to the Gate theme if you have it muliple times. So with you and the 9th Gate you have an intensity about you. You won't want to get into a job unless you know the money to fund your detailed work can continue. You probably enjoy detailed work. etc :)

Ho Ho! I don't believe that's the case. But hey, we somehow found our way to Ra. Some level of crazy was necessary to spend time in his aura. If I were to join us all together in one way, I would say we were all lovers of truth, looking to be nourished by more than food. :)
