This series reminds of the original Wranglestar videos. Love it. Thanks man. I left for a while when the videos became slightly BSC 😅. I am back! Thanks again!
True growth is admitting that you were wrong about something. Glad to see you come around on the grease guns and glad the machine was an easy fix. I have had so many of those sensors almost give me a heart attack over the years lol.

Im not gonna lie, I wish we'd just go to the metric system. There are too many stupid people in this country that would be more useful if we implemented the measuring system that a 5 year old can understand
I love how Cody nonchalantly ignored the revolver when he's simply getting zip-ties from the tool chest (12:00 mins). :) Great guy! God bless, you Cody.
Always blows my mind seeing trashed equipment. Fornthe cost of the things, I don't understand the lack of care. My guys get paid as part of of their job to clean and grease equipment once a week. No exceptions
Also. Check out the lock n lube nozzle for your grease gun. You’ll never look back. I’m an industrial mechanic and I swear by them. Especially for places where it’s hard to reach and keep your grease nozzle on your zerk fitting.
Cody, I have been really enjoying this kind of content. It is nice to follow you around doing your day to day activities. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to seeing more videos from you.
Cody, something you might want to think about is putting a real oil pressure Guage in you can do that by getting a tee fitting that will screw in where the sensor goes and then the 2 other ports would be for the original sensor and for a new oil pressure Guage you can run a steel braided line from the tee to the Guage mounted in the cab this way you'll always be able to see the pressure
God Bless you Cody. Please, if you have a moment, please say a prayer for me. I am going through a rough time now. Thank you. Or anyone who has a moment. Thank you.
I would recommend deoxit d5 spray contact cleaner for your electrical connections. I use it for trailer light plugs and sockets. Works for taillight sockets. I used it for my electrical cord when I was flat towing my truck behind my motorhome.
Cody , I’ve been watching some of the other channels that deal with equipment and a few have dealt with fire and equipment over the years, one channel lost an excavator to fire and Jon from Farmcraft almost lost a boom lift to fire, I know your expertise is wildland firefighting, but could you do a video showing your preferred methods for fire prevention with the machines on your homestead?
No Cody isn't over greasing a kid in my class over greased a bearing on a car that thing launched that bearing into a wall on the opposite side of the shop 😂😂😂 that thing is now a art piece 😂😂😂😂
I have a snow removal business I spend so much time on the little things. I cant afford any down time. I have my route to do then I am the fixer when other companys fail the send me in to clean up there mess. Most of the time its failure of equipment due to low maintenance. The last storm 133 hours in the seat in a week. Zero fails it's all in the details. Your ready Cody
its a $10 part for a reason, its a common thing to brake probably. spraying the inside of your engine bay is probably not a wise choice either, so much electronics in modern machines, water gets in and doesnt drain away, starts to corrode the terminals, brings up faults. if you really insist on spraying inside the engine bay with foam or a pressure washer, have the engine running so the heat turns the water to steam and keeps the electronics dry as best it can.
Im sort of surprised you werent more more frustrated with such an expensive piece of 1yr old equipment already having a host of issues with light to moderate use.
Mate you should find a source of the flat waxed string like used on aircraft’s to tie wire bundles, really good and much cheater than plastic tie wraps. ( Stronger too. ) nice video BTW.
Cody, With the sensor you took out, the bad one, if it metal, see if you can take it apart and use the lower half and make your own test gauge fitting. Just a thought. Also you went to Mexico and got your teeth fixed you didn't spill any fuel, go back to Mexico and bring back the real Cody. Thank you for taking time to film, edit and post this video.
Slight correction, it was The Big Fizz group that got you one, not the Middlemen (though they are part of that group). So glad to see the CAT back in working order, all clean, and mounted up with the snow blower! Also glad to see we spilled the requisite amount of diesel when filling the tank. 🤭 It's clearly a requirement for a successful project... like a sacrifice to the project gods.
I always figure modern automotive batteries are trustworthy for 5 years, if a cold winter is forecast and my batteries are 5+ years old I just replace them. Better than having to jump start a vehicle in the middle of nowhere in the rain, sleet or snow.
@wranglerstar we travel out to your.neck of the woods frequently. Love "Mt Fuji". I called it that last time we were there and was immediately corrected by folks in my group. I just said "Oh", and laughed to myself.
After the LA fires, what do you recommend people do/have for potential wildfires? I have watched most of your vids on the topic, but because of the urbaness of the situation is there anything you would do differently? I have some toy hoses, a couple 1" forrestry hose, and 2 echo water pumps, similar too your water bug. (I am 99% sure that the engine on your pump is an echo, the same size as the pumps I have) I am working on my proho fire kit, and your knowledge is greatly appreciated
Nice, do you just stick it in your shirt pocket? I was trying to figure out how you go to different stores and they don't give you a hard time about filming.
Why do you have locks on your fuel caps? I have hardly seen you take your equipment off your property. I feel like you have bigger issues on your property if you are concerned about your fuel being stolen. I think and assume most would agree there are much better things to steal on your property than fuel.

Lol at the drawer magnum. Man just never knows.
i thought it was going to be a joke where each drawer he opened in the tool box had one lol
Skid steer ASMR. That was good work on the machine.

you admitted that grease gun is actually good. Now it's time to accept the metric system :)
Pump the brakes buddy 😂
What the hell is the metric system?
3/8” is 10mm. That’s it, all you need to know!😊

just another tool, but for a different job than today's

Cody you should do a full dedicated video doing basic matinence and the cleaning process on your cat skid steer
Great to see the CAT all clean and ready to go 👍
I came here to see a cat driving a skid steer. Enjoyed the video though. 😊
It’s nice to see people clean their equipment, I can’t imagine using something all the time and never cleaning it especially before maintenance.
Good deal, buddy, for the money you saved fixing it yourself, you can buy a new hair piece.
Maybe 2?😮
That's pretty skibitty
I admire how he mussed it up today to make it look more real!
What do you think the trip to Mexico for .......wig or teeth 🤔
Might be real , it has Grey in it?

I've been considering this, great suggestion,
Ive always left my zip ties long so I had a handle when cutting them off.
44 magnum clearly belongs in the hammer “persuader” drawer, not with the zip ties.
PROHO fail 😂
Excellent as usual... Nice to see someone take care of his equipment.

Good looking pew pew in the tool drawers 😂
I hope that water dries up today or youre gonna have a nice ice patch under all the snow.
Some people would say Cody is OCD, Not I....I say he is a fabulous steward......

Thank you for the videos Cody, good luck!
No, I buy USA made Goodyear pure rubber hoses. They can withstand the low ground pressure of a rubber track going over them.

Andrew Camarata lost an excavator due to a fire.

I'm always checking the details, you gotta be ready, but I don't like being stuck in the seat for that long
I just can't believe that a proho has a leaking garden hose connection 😢
I live in Hawaii but am originally from the Midwest. The snow-streams are something I wait for all year. Hopefully I'll see ya in the morning.
Expecting 24” in Flathead Valley! Can’t wait 👍
Time for some gaskets on your garden hose fittings.
I put a new washer in, the end is smashed

Yes, I’m planning on restarting Monday
You need a rifle rack on the rear windshield 😊
Cat might deny warranty you pealed off all the decals 😂 Easy fix, skid steers can be a nightmare.
Why would I advertise for CAT? They have not once contacted me regarding al the nice things I've said about them in videos,

I did spill that’s why I was cleaning it all off with the blue shop tail when I put the fuel cap on at least a quarter gallon
@wranglerstar I just thought you were wiping the machine off so there wasn't any water spots.
In my dreams,
Proho needs to change out those rubber washers on that leaky hose.
I did the end is mashed. It got ran over by someone.
Glad to see the repair was simple. Do you find the lubricant in the chute helps? I try, but wet snow always eventually clogs.
Not really maybe for the first minute
@wranglerstar yeah, I've tried everything I could think of. Fluid film, candle wax, silicone, other sprays.
