      Unfortunately, most drivers only put a couple across the back end in an "X" formation. Pure laziness by the driver, especially as he's had to open the curtains to get tipped. Just hope DVSA pull him before he's involved in an accident as that could do more harm than good.

      Probably has XL rated curtains. So if the load is a positive fit then he only needs to secure it from the back and not the entire thing.

      @@OllyllO that is not even close to being positive fit, the reason the westland soil isnt to the back doors is because its too heavy to put 26 pallets on, even just the rest of the internal straps on each pallet would still consider this load as insecure by vosa due to the weight of each pallet, however if he put 2 stacks of empty pallets on the back to fill the gap - that would become positive fit only if within 30cm of rear door and 2/3 ratchet straps to give 100% restraint against rear movement, its a general misconception that XL rated curtains will hold the weight of the load (its considered 40% rated when not positive fit, and 50% when positive fit)
