I was surfing the web and found your videos. Though I am at a point beyond what is being taught here (graduated in engineering). Just wanted to drop a comment and say how thoroughly impressed I am by your clarity and delivery. Wished my professors back in undergrad and even in graduate were remotely as good. A+
After so many failed attempts to find a good explanation of Euler's Method, I am finally at a place that I can call home. Your explanation is lucid for an autodidact like me, and thas what all best teachers do: they make it easy for all alike.
Sincerely speaking, these lectures lightened up my work and made it more understandable; very clear and precise. I can't go without appreciating such an excellent work.
I am a second language speaker, and I usually do not understand most of the touters when they teach because they usually speak really quick, but you are different. I understood everything you said. I did not get confused at all. You go through the problem slowly and explain everything step by step. You are awesome. Thank you so much and keep it up.
thank you.. I have calculus class in the fall and I plan to watch all your videos to prep. Sometimes I do not understand the instructor in the front of the room, but you are very good delivering the message. Have a good day, and thanks again.
you're definitely one of the best math instructors i've ever watched here on TH-cam. I went ahead and created an account on your website. It's been very helpful to me.
Dont normally comment, but I have to say thanks for helping me to understand Eulers method. I just started university and stuggling so much with the differential equations. Thanks.
@@Calcworkshop I'm tutoring students in Calc 1 & 2 and after learning this 15 years ago, you have helped me regain the memory of learning this originally years ago!
Pretty cool. Brings back very dusty memories. She reminds me of one of my High School Math teachers from almost 50 years back, now, Mrs. Mickleson. She was as sharp and quick as the gal in this clip. Them were the days.
Thank you very much. Excellent explanation. My professor just has us tack on another column for the value of the y’ at each step. Throws me off a little.
FINALLY! I GET IT! Early Transcendentals is sooooo boring. They explained this TERRIBLY! I've managed to read more than half of that book and trust me, this part is REALLY BAD.... I was half asleep reading just now but this woke me right up. Thank you so much. I even understand that y(0.3) = 1.362 is the approximation of the dependent variable at y' = x+y. Which means the coordinate (0.3,1.362) Right? When I was reading that book they explained using so many t's and random letters for variables that I got confused.
Hello! I love the video. Great explanation. But, I have a question. I see that the distance where we want to go is given in this case. Does Euler's method work for where I don't know where to go? If not, what is a good method for that?
Hello, your videos it's very interesting and i was studying from your videos and it's very helpful for me because i study in Russia and i'm from Algeria also i have problem with Russian language, that's why please can i have some lessons about Mayer functional , Bolza functional and taylor also ,,, and thank you so much fro you help
You are doing awesome works.. could you solve some Differential E. from engineering with euler? Something Like air pressure in each 10ft? --> dp =−ρ(h)⋅g⋅ dh and ρ(h=0)=1.2 kg/m^3 because you told us how euler works bur without example.
You could be the Twin of Lisa Edeltstein.... Identical VOICE and very similar Face.. amazing... oh and thank you for your Video... I'm taking my time watching it, Pausing now and then take notes.. and resuming.. I'M LEARNING!! :D .. thank you....
Okay, I just finished watching your video and YOUR METHOD OF TEACHING IS SUPERB!!!.. I've watched several other videos on Euler's Method and YOUR's is the Best by far!!. thank you.. Your style is the difference... :)
This is almost the same method my teacher teaches, but is compacted into a much simpler format instead of finding slope, then the y=mx+b equation, then plugging the stepwise value to find y!!!!!
Even Sal from Khan Academy couldn't explain this at all this well.
IKR!!! I'm glad that I understood the concept after I watch this video.
Sameeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Wish you were my Diff. Eq teacher. Very impressed by how clear and professional your lecture was.
Thanks so much!

defiantly agree with you

My textbook explains this in a head scratching way. The table setup made it easy to get hold of the concept. Thank you!

Hey +danny laurenzana - Thanks for you kind words! Good luck on your class in the fall. :)
you're definitely one of the best math instructors i've ever watched here on TH-cam. I went ahead and created an account on your website. It's been very helpful to me.
Best practicle Euler explanation yet!
Dont normally comment, but I have to say thanks for helping me to understand Eulers method. I just started university and stuggling so much with the differential equations. Thanks.
I was looking for a clear video like this for ages. Thank you so much!
I've just realized after surfing youtube looking for Euler's method, that this short video is really excellent. Thanks.
Easy, thorough, and articulate. Well done, and thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Very clear and concise explanation made complicated by numerous textbooks and various professors!! Thank you!!
Thanks so much!!

Where were you when I was taking Calc 1, 2, 3 and DE? You are excellent! (subscribed)
Thank you very much. Excellent explanation.
My professor just has us tack on another column for the value of the y’ at each step. Throws me off a little.
I'm studying for a numerical analysis final and this helped so much more than the book and my professor's explanation. Thank you so much.
Hey +christopher grant - So glad we could help you out! :)

Thank you ma'm for this beautiful video which has a great explanation.
THANK YOU
Love the way you taught eulers method
Thank you
Wow this is awesome
The method I used before was so confusing, didn't know if I'll be able to apply it in the exam
Thank you so much!
Here I am re-watching it for the final! lol
Please make more videos!!!
Hey - good timing, I'm going to post some this weekend, stay tuned.

Clarity and to-the-point-ness. Very rare on youtube these days. Everyone wants to be arty-farty.
good video,thanks
Omg thank you so much! I'm finally able to do my math assignment with better understanding and ease UwU
in class this topic sounded like a chore, now its like a game of how accurate you can be
thank u madam......cheers from Pakistan
great video
thanks!
vey good explanation
Amazing.

Your markers are going to dry out with the caps like that
😀
does this still work if you have dy/dx=4x-3y+2 y(1)=5 y(1.5) h=.1
Bro this is so clear now
This is almost the same method my teacher teaches, but is compacted into a much simpler format instead of finding slope, then the y=mx+b equation, then plugging the stepwise value to find y!!!!!
Absolutely, the table is made to make it easier and simplify your steps. :)
As I said, my teacher uses a similar table to teach Euler's method.
