Music of AFX is some of my favorite so far .. but it makes me feel strangely. It's great his music and I am happy for it, but it also makes me realise I can't write music worth anything ... I want to stop and just listen to his. -_- all day

It's only worth something if you enjoyed the end result. That is all that matters. If other people happen to like it, it's a extra blessing. Make it for YOUR ears and see what happens.

It's easy to imagine songs like this, but it's difficult to actually record the sounds that you hear in your head. (I've tried - I think I'll need to improvise vocals to approximate the abstract electronic sounds that I'm imagining.)

Eddie Van Halen never listens to his own music and several other artists either don't like to or don't believe in listening to your own music. Idk why I mean if you make great music then fuck it it's great!!

There are plenty of brilliant tracks on the Analord EP's, and despite listening to them a ton, I am still finding new things to appreciate about them. Something about this song's composition and sounds though just keep me coming back to it, and living it every single time.

That's actually a quote from Richard D. James himself talking about his own music. :p It could sound arrogant to some people to like listening to your own music the best, but to be fair, it's got to be hard not to enjoy Aphex, even if you're him yourself.

Using a step sequencer to control the filter cutoff of the sh-101. So the name of the track is literally a description of how it was made. Its not a 303 but i would still call it acid.
