@George Armstrong lmao they just said this album wasn't gonna be as complex as their older ones, that's ok as long as they don't just continue on this road (but they already said they are not going to). Chill, the album is good, I'll wait for the next release before judging

Gojira is so fucking awesome, as a Brazilian I can say that the song they did for Amazonia is enough reasons for me loving them, but this is not all, every song they do and the riffs of guitar are amazing!!! What talented guys, really enjoying listening them and cannot wait to see them live in a gig!
😂 sorry but listen other bands like progressive metal style if you want to find great riffs and best level in structural complexity music. Gojira's musicians are not very good.
Its very rare for me to notice how good a drummer is. gojira has one of the best ive ever heard. Mario can mix off tempo beat and textures into the song and make them blend. some of the drum lines he is hitting are kinda wild
Indeed! I like how the band doesn't go crazy with extravagant riffs and composition. It really lets the drummer breath and explore and for the listener to relax and enjoy the groove. I'm glad that others can relate.
I just saw them live and was absolutely floored by how good he is. Awesome stage presence, made it look effortless and fun. LOTS of groove. Reminded me of Randy Castillo, Vinnie Paul, and Danny Carey. He did a kick ass drum solo too.
