  • Here is a text version of directions for the same route I took in the Desert of Death. Good luck =]
    1. From the FACTORY Walk NW (2 turns left of north) until Evening Star moves off screen (during the third night)
    2. Follow Evening Star (west) until you find Life Armor (during the fourth night)
    3. Finish this night by walking east
    4. Walk ENE (3 turns right of north) for 2 nights
    5. Walk north until you find the Royal Sword (during the seventh night)
    6. Finish this night by walking east
    7. Walk ENE (3 turns right of north) until the Evening Star drops below the horizon (after 2.5-3 nights)
    8. Walk north until you reach the Oasis (about half a night).

You are indeed the first person to pop up for Radiata Stories. Which is indeed sweet.

Ah Caer Xhan the last town in the game well I say town but it is home to naught but a few robots and to get the weapon for Peco you will have to enter from the oasis side and travel east for 7 nights and you will find the death claws Peco's second strongest weapon you can get his ultimate weapon the dragonfang which has 85 attack power and is super effective against dragons as a drop from the fire and ice drakes in the final dungeon but it is a 1/256 drop rate without charm so it is quite hard to get, you can also get Ryu's ultimate sword in the final dungeon from the gooking at the same drop rate as the dragonfang but the gookings like to flee a lot which makes it harder to get but you can make them stay in combat if you steal the item they hold, if you need to teleport back for any reason you will have to head through the ever dangerous container yard but you will need Garr in your party to push and break the box that is blocking the ladder to the teleporter, you will need to keep check of your AP in the final dungeon as even though there are some healing points they are few and far between so the more AP healing items you have the better there are also quite a few boss fights inside there some of which are pretty hard (looking at one in particular for a very good reason) the boss before the one at the end is the hardest in the game even with the dragon forms so yeah it is a place that is not to be taken lightly.

Hi. Great job so far. Did you know that the Drak has a ability you can learn? Cure which is pretty good if I remember.

Unfortunately I did not know that, but looking it up now, damn that sounds nice! 100% heal plus status one a single ally! Definitely get that in my next playthrough, as it only costs 18 AP! Perfect for a non-mage to have just to add a little supplemental healing to the party! I think my next group will be Ryu, Rei, and Garr or Nina. I will also see if I can gameshark/codebreak Ryu out of the part to make it a little more unique. Something I loved about FFX was being able to NOT have the main character in my party haha

@@Soulkrist17 That's good to know. Lol. Was wondering why Momo and Peco was always in your party. Never thought about taking out the main hero before. Could be interesting. Almost done with the walkthrough. So far so good.

I'm one of those players that typically likes to have a dedicated party, unless the game is set up to utilize all, such as Legend of Dragoon which lets you swap members anytime (not just world map/save points). As for the main hero, they are often times my least favourite characters, so in FF8 as a kid I swapped Squall out for Edea. Gamesharks were fun :P
Glad you're liking this so far, and damn you're blazing through it quickly!
