Great review! I’m probably in the minority, but I really prefer claustrophobic type castles with many small rooms and paths like Wynern Castle and even Castle Orlock. They feel so much cozier than the huge castles. I appreciate how much work went into this mod, though!
Hi Feb!! This castle is very beautiful, both inside and out! The individual areas are all decorated very nicely. They include everything you might want (except toilets, of course). But like you, it is just too big and spread out! I know that I would get lost every time I went to look for some place specifically. I absolutely appreciate all the hard work that went into creating it, though! Lots of luv hun and have a great week. ❤😊❤
Hey Febrith, thanks for covering my mod and great walkthrough as always! I will link this on my mod page. I am planning on making some updates soon so it becomes more follower friendly, and also to spruce up some areas. I appreciate all the feedback! And trust me, I was going mad trying to finish it lol. Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for the showcase, cheers!
Such a beautiful setting for a castle befitting a nobleman!! I just love all the water features, even in the bedroom, just wow!! I could spend a whole day drinking my tea and taking in the magnificent views!! Having the weapon and armor displays in the bedroom are so nice, don’t have to “find” the armory again to see your favorites! Thank you Feb was such a wonderful showcase!!
It looks cool. I think it strikes such a figure in the countryside. That is the biggest selling point for me. Also, like you said, this is a lot of hard work and I appreciate the mod author's dedication. I do have the same problem with it that I tend to have with some player home mods: big space but barracks, followers' and kids' quarters are one room each with a bunch of beds thrown together. I think sometimes mod authors spend so much time on building the structure itself but then don't pay as much attention to what goes inside it. A stone's throw away from here, as you said, is Laboratorium which shows excellent use of space and IMO is due for another showcase.😁Also, tell Archie I said hi.
Is this the largest home mod we've seen yet? It's certainly a contender! It's too bad we can't play co-op in Skyrim (not that wonky Skyrim Together), this might be a great home mod to share. And like some of the other posters here, I too wonder how long it took to make this.
Sjel Blad is still the largest, followed by raven castle...or was it castle raven?, followed by Northwind keep, followed by Shadowstar castle tied with this one. only thing is Shdowstar is easier to walk around the place
Wow!! I love that miniature of the castle INSIDE the castle!! The whole place is just massive though. I wonder if you can get rid of all the NPCs like you can with Skyrimlazz places?
Hello feb,i just install skyrim AE and i need a house that looks like Riverwood Keep SE. The house it self must really close to villages or inside city so the adopt children can play outside on the villages/city, it support heartfire multiple adoption, and at least is medium - large size mods. Optional maybe a few custom npc built in to protect the home.
*Sir Aethelstane puts away his newspaper* "Pierre?" - "Ahem, Eric, Sir Aethelstane!" - "Quite right, quite right... Pierre was eaten by that troll. I remember. Well, squire Eric! I want you to find that cat real estate agent and maketh her understand, that we are not amused she was with-holding there was another castle for sale! Let her feel the weight of my unequivocal displeasure!" - "Yes... should I... call her a milk drinker?" - "For a Norse you are not very... Norse-ish, squire! Unimaginative, but it will do for now. While I find the funds for the other castle. Maybe less religious fanatics living there!" ---- "Got something I'm supposed to deliver... Your hands only! Let me see... That's it!" YOU MILK DRINKER!
Everything looks really cool, but it's so big, you'll never see your family again and your kids won't play together etc... Skystone is about as big as you really want a home if you plan on interacting with anybody.
Tried it but quite honestly too much is simply too much. Navigating and finding things in there is just a nightmare. I do like large player homes, no questions asked. I also love the hidden corners, secret vaults. but this home is anything but practical. It is not even the massive size, but the structure. There is no clear guidance through the home. For me it is a wild collection of many rooms and areas. I can appreciate the work that was put into this mod, some of the rooms are gorgeous but i don't want to spend an hour to get there each and every time. And by the time you finish a playthrough you most likely won't even know half your way around this home. I am currently setting up a new playthrough, i test a ton of mods. But this won't make it on my short list in the end despite me liking it in some respect.
Classic Feb,
487 rooms and Feb stumbles into the one room where somebody hasn't gotten dressed yet for breakfast. Love it.
LMAO
Minas Turith from 6m40 to 7m10 ???
Just miss Agrippine in the outdoor pool ( Imperial Estate mod )
About homes being a maze i'm still looking for a bigger one than Raven Castle 3.1
It’s clear why this part of map has so many home mods. Such views
Absolutely:)
I love the care the creator took to make it look epic from the outside. Even if I never used this castle, it would make for such a striking landmark!
Totally agree!

Fair enough!
I know it's because it's a castle home and all, but man is it somehow making me nostalgic for that old Battlehorn Castle add on in Oblivion.

Lol well done sweetie, you did a great job with it:))
Had the same feeling when i saw the mannequins in plate armors and the npcs entering the room with plate armors too.

Will do - he loves all the attention he can get:) x
OMG, mapping this place is a sub-game. Great review, beautiful mod.
It really is!
beautiful place. would like to see more people in it. good mod
There's so much to this mod. I can't imagine how long it took to put together. All in all, great mod!
For sure!:)
Incredible palace. Just way too big! I'm surprised that you didn't get lost more often in there! Thanks for the overview Feb.
Lmao I know right?! I did cut out some of my travelling around though:D
Thank you for bringing us another wonderful well made mod.
My pleasure!
It's beautifully done.
Glad you think so too!:)

When you entered the smithing area it's the same one of Sjel Blad Castle but empty ...
Oh on the banners in the entrance is that the white tree from lord of the rings 😅 But i love the sennep colour
Same!:)

@@FebrithDarkstar Oh meant to tell you, Looks like he added a No NPC version too! Yaaaaaaaaaay!! I may just pick this up after all!
@@belgeode Oh cool!:)
Too big! Love it, tho! I’m late on this one cuz I just got home from a cruise!
Hope you enjoyed it!
Thank you :)
No problem 😊
Wowzers!!
Lol right?:)
Watching this one too cause now available for xbox
Beautiful.
Just wondering how npc friendly it was, considering I didn't see Inigo interacting.
Thank you, I look forward to your videos.
The place was so big that once I let him off the leash I totally lost track of him lol.
@@FebrithDarkstar Perhaps a throne beckon to him, to contemplate spiders. Lol
@@Reviresco2 Lol yes!

You could try Springwood Estate in Solitude - it's brilliant and you can decorate it for the holidays! :)
@FebrithDarkstar thanks for the fast reply! I will try it.
@@ziddleralbright No problem - it's a good one;)
Good thing Skyrim doesn't have property maintenance fees, or else this would bankrupt you.
Lmao so true! :D

Looks like a good place for U.S. expats.
