This week we're taking it day by day as we really aren't sure when I could go into labour. My mom is in town to help with Bowie so we use that as an opportunity to play a little fake labour prank on her. Also in an effort to kill some time waiting for little dude to arrive, I walk you through my postpartum closet plans and bring you along for a 39 week workout. Felt the emotional roller coaster in this video. In the first half, I couldn't stop smiling and laughing and in the last bit, I cried because I felt your emotions. So many feels watching you talk about Bowie and the transition from 1 to two. I had my second in February and I broke down the night before just like you. It is an emotion and a feeling you cannot describe unless you have went through it. Especially leaving him for days we never spent a night without our son. He was 3 when my daughter was born. But, as you know by now, it all worked out and it’s as if you had two babes all along. ♥️

I’m a mama to two as well. When I was pregnant with my daughter (my youngest and my son is the oldest) after I had her I cried because I was so scared that my son would feel replaced and it just hurt my hurt. After he got to meet her, he eased that instantly. He was so proud of her. He was so proud to be a big brother. I still cried my eyes out in fear for him while feeling conflicted because of the excitement for her. Bo is going crush it as a big sister. You guys are so tight knit and so open and she couldn’t have asked for a better family. Congratulations on the new addition. You guys are killing it.
I just want to say I’m so glad you expressed your fear and sadness about Bowie’s feelings and how you feel adding a second babes to the fam. I hear so many women while pregnant with their second day their heart has already expanded and all that but I went through such hard days where I sobbed thinking about my oldest’s feelings and how he was out everything for 5 years before adding another. It took a while for that mojo and flow of a family of four to happen hit once it did we couldn’t imagine our life without our daughter. Thank you for sharing that moment! I had felt like such a bad mom for a while as no one has ever confessed to relating to me in this. Love you guys! Congratulations!

We’ve been dairy free for 8 years. You picked up some good items. We use the Violife parm all the time. Also, not sure of the distance, but Whole Foods can be ordered for free through Amazon for free, depending on the timing.

Just found your channel and I can already tell that I am going to love watching your family ‘s journey. Congratulations on little man joining the family. You might want to consider keeping some bottled water, a portable toilet, food that doesn’t require cooking, some string led lights and a mini charger/solar generator to have power to run your lighting and charge your cell phone and anything else you need for baby and toddler. Coloring books, small toys, blankets,etc. keep things in bins with lids and label them.

This vlog made me cry so much. I just gave birth to my second a baby boy too on the 7th of August and I also have a little 3.5 yr old girl so this really hit home. She is struggling at the moment to adjust to not have all the attention at times but also wants to hold and give him kisses so much. Such a crazy transitional time!

Congrats! He's precious. Friday the 13th. I got my first period ever on a Friday the 13th. A new baby is so much more fun. ❤️
My first period came on my 13th birthday. I had the worst cramps, and I thought “if this is supposed to prepare you for what labor feels like I’m never having kids!”. I’m 40, and don’t have kids, but that’s not why. Lol. Really ends up that I have endometriosis .
Just wanted to say Shenae, I used to dye my hair almost as dark as yours but when the silver greys started popping up they were so visible in the blackish hair.. I just stopped dying my hair and stick to my natural, which is a cool dark brown, and the greys just blend in and aren't even visible anymore. If you get tired of the upkeep :)

Congrats from England. I had exactly the same moment about my firstborn when my second boy was due. I worried he would think we didn’t love him as much or that he wasn’t enough and I was so emosh . He’s 24 now and I think he’s finally forgiven me and is cool with it 😃
