Since the very beginning of the game the library was portrayed as a villainous faction, both Angela and Roland were far from sympathetic most of the time, the only thing they had going for them was that most of their "victims" weren't any better than they were. You were pretty much meant to at least dislike Angela from the very beginning and Roland was also pretty indifferent to a lot of probably-murder of arguably innocent people, so you'd naturally sympathise more with their opponents whenever they weren't irredeemable bastards.
Xiao reached the conclusion that poor Philip could not, and yet, it didn't make the road ahead any easier... I'm just glad the Liu made it out alive in the end
God the way you portrayed Carmen is this is so good. Whenever she first shows up over Xiao's shoulder with a bit of Angela's color pallet that slowly unravels into her own. Especially whenever she's holding her hand out to Xiao. The background shifting with her influence and the way the static reminds you that she's both there and not really there, or rather that she's not limited by? residing in? reality. (and then whenever Xiao speaks the background is consumed by fire, resisting Carmen's influence) I really love this depiction of her
Xiao is the Reception that opened the Pages about how Evil angela Really is. she have seen Lulu lost Mars,Roland asked if she ever regret Doing all of this to achieve Her goal,and She said No,they're here because of their Own will. and After This exact Reception,He objects to fight Lowel when he found out they're married,since Roland too,know how it feels to lost someone Like that. This whole Reception,is the only Reception that i Root for to Win against the Library So bad..oh,how i really hope we could see Lowel and Xiao again celebrating their Anniversary in Limbus...
this is kinda true-but it’s to be noted that “the cycle of suffering” was all angela ever knew, being born to literally do that for millions of years and then die and even getting out of that cycle, she’s once again stuck with nobody, carmen telling her that she can get everything she wants if she just listens and gets the one true book and angela wanted to hold onto that and I think the most beautiful part was her breaking free from that - D1 angela glazer
And don’t ever forget *SPOILERS* Carmen was the one inviting everyone to the Library to begin with, so even if they signed it, Angela basically states that anyone who receives it is either in dire straits and can’t refuse or is essentially forced to because it branches from an objective of theirs. Did they ever truly have free will to go there when an omnipresent entity is just giving them death they can’t avoid on a silver platter? It doesn’t exactly “excuse” Angela from the *principle* of killing off anyone invited (as they never truly died, every single person who were made into a Book except Argalia and the rest of the Reverberation Ensemble were freed but it’s just what she was willing to do that made the difference) but it does make you see Carmen in an even worse light the more you think about her being behind the Distortion Phenomenon as well. Worst part is, while Hokma knew since the beginning (and hasn’t ever had a fervent respect for her anyway) + Binah never even meeting her, it’s still unknown if the other former Sephirah know that the person they respected so much is actually the cause behind one of the most impactful phenomena in the City at the moment and was actually the one essentially leading the invited to their deaths. After everything they’ve been through, I do hope Angela keeps that to herself.

it still scares me hearing Carmen speak as the ensemble said she sounds so calm and beautiful, but everything that came out from her mouth is all negative thing You could hear about yourself. i don't blame people who got distorted Carmen is literally what the people in the City wanted someone who could listen to all of your problems and solved it.
Honesty, Im scared of what Xiao wouldve become had she distorted, I presume a dragon but no, the queen of flames manifested her own ego, when she just wanted to settle down with her husband, god Xiao is so fucking cool
i love Xiao, usually we're thought to fight against what we have to face but instead Xiao, takes it with acceptance while remaining resolute. The idea that despite disparity, we will eventually learn to accept its way as it is; not as a means to ignore the outcome but to have the resolution in our end and that's so cool.
OOOHH THIS IS BEYOND GORGEOUUUSSSS!!! i wasn't expecting carmen's dialogue pieces, but it makes her side of the conversation feel that much more fulfilling. the burning away of carmen's deceit, the flames stirring every which way, the transition from key ingredient to the original--oh my god, it's all SO perfect!!! here's to hoping we'll see xiao and lowell together again in limbus
Honestly, I absolutely love the animation. Though I do have some suggestions to improve your skills When animating scenes like 2:06 , where a character's hair or maybe their clothes are being affected by strong wind, swaying violently; you could instead slow down the swaying animation with a minimum of 3 repeating frames. And if it's something like hair, you could instead have less detail lines inside the hair, to be able to interpret the entire hair to be swaying. Only the stroke lines moving left and right. And a tip I have is practicing animating movements of a single limb, like an entire arm stretching out, let's say. When animating things like that, you should of course base it off of the previous position(s) that the limb was in, but still treat it like it's own singular art piece, which will allow you to put more effort and detail to it, for it to not look like one of those memes where there's a very well drawn horse on the left and it's continuation is just an elementary school doodle. Also, in scenes like 1:10 , Carmen's eyes could've been a biiiit bigger towards the top-left. Diagonally-Rotated faces usually tend to look smaller, yes but in this situation, it's just the facial structure I do not in any way mean that this is bad animation, I absolutely fucking love it as a big fan of Xiao, I'm just trying to give constructive criticism. Sorry if it offends you in any way. I would love to see more of your work
