Firstly just want to say your videos are great and the cars are even better! I’ve recently bought a stock seat and looking at all the mods I can do, fairly new to modifying cars. A little constructive criticism, would be great to see you carrying out the task a little more. Removing the top cap is the most difficult step in this and you showed no footage... it would help people a lot to show the removal of such items. Keep up the good work!
Do you see any information message on your infotainment system after installing these dynamic indicators? I know that in some cases the car control unit can recognize a component different from the original one and gives a warning message
Much like most things on modern cars it’s plastic clips galore, always feels like you’re going to snap something using too much force but you have to grit your teeth and go for it!
I cannot get my wing mirror covers off for love nor money, got any advice how? I've just picked up a 2019 black Cupra by the way. Have subbed ya channel 👊
Thanks mate! Just be patient and dont be scared to use a bit of force, they come off almost diagonally towards the bonnet. In the video I describe where the clips are. It does take some cringe worthy force and use of the pry tool. Just be careful with the more delicate bottom section.
These look really nice and are very OEM+. They’re expensive on progressive parts though at 50 quid. A quick google search shows the exact same ones on other sites at like 22 quid. Think I’m gonna have to get some. Very good value for money and easy DIY.
Do these indicators still show the flash on the inside of the wing mirror? So when your sat in the drivers seat you can see the indicator flash in the little square next to the wing mirror glass
Don’t think the original listing is still up but they are all pretty much exactly the same, you can get it on ebay or cheaper on aliexpress if you’re prepared to wait for shipping. Just search dynamic indicators leon. They fit all leon models 2013-2020 and ibiza 2018 onwards.
No coding at all. Just a straight swap as shown in the video! There is a link to purchase them on Amazon in the description. They are available on a few other sites.
Can’t seem to find the discount code for progressive parts anywhere, can anyone help?! Also, interested to know what other mods are planned for your cupra. Have you thought about a res delete?
Don't think I fancy a res delete on this one. Its my daily and I really don't like crazy loud exhausts on something I spend lots of motorway time in. I wouldn't mind a tiny increase in volume as the DSG farts are very muted in this one. I thought the stock exhaust on the 300 was the sweet spot - but I appreciate most people who buy cars like these want lots of noise! The discount code is searchable on the cupra owners club on facebook.
@@jamesnicholls9357 literally just come in from doing it. Was a 5 min job after I sussed it out. Just took a tiny screwdriver out to push the prongs in a bit and they just popped off!
@@liddabean what prongs? On my connector there is the one long tab that presses in and then there two holes below it? So what exactly am i supposed to be doing as mine is not moving an inch?
Mine are from a bulb store on ebay - but they are all pretty much the same. Progressive Parts is probably the best UK supplier at the moment, they just added them to stock recently.
Thanks for making this, really useful after I ordered a set off eBay and realised they don't come with any instructions. 😊
Mine came with wires i needed to vonnect myself. I havent done it yet because im scared i cant do it. Do you know maybe how to install those wires?
Hi, did you remove the front glass mirror before working on the back of the mirror?
No, the glass stays in place
Do you know if you can retrofit power folding mirrors?

No issues at all 👍🏻
Requires bit of fiddling and an uncomfortable bit of pull lol, once you get it off after having a feel it's easy , great little upgrade :)

Just brought these does anyone know why my right indicator stops working when I drive
Look awesome thanks for sharing, looking forward to more Cupra vids.

Sam Culpan Well worth it mate, I got mine for about £40 on ebay but aliexpress is good if you’re patient 😂

Yes, although only when the sweep reaches it, so theres a small delay from the click noise to it lighting up.
can yoy link the exakt part you are using? looks really nice :)

Does anyone know what the discount code is and if it is still valid? Cheers
Can I do this on an FR or does it have to be a Cupra? Nice video btw 👍🏼
Works on any Leon of this shape that has indicators on the mirrors!
Nice one , from where we can buy it ?? And does need any coding?

I’m having serious problems undoing the electrical connector on my mk3.5 it’s driving me nuts
Can't say I had this issue! It does require a bit of force though.
@@ItsDanLatham my luck! I’ll try tomorrow, I was losing the light and it was damp today
I am also having this issue, have you managed to sort it out?
