To try it out go to Roblox Studio, make a new place and make sure to have "Enroll Beta" ENABLED! That allows your Roblox Studio to use Beta Features coming to users in the future.

Personally, this seems pretty dope, but i would prefer if the chat button was next to the Roblox logo just like the old layout.
Me too, Its easier, but we can just / to chat normally.
The problem is some games have HD Admin and sometimes it blocks the chat

I'll love this! the bubbles are very annoying currently, but it'll be better when it's left!
I think it looks better than now, the one thing that I don't like is that you have to click that button in the corner and then open the menu, I like to put my cursor next to the Roblox button, I feel much more relaxed and it's easier, even though I use / button, it would be better for phone users since it's hard to type already. I hope the update is here as soon as possible.

The problem with the new menu bar is that things in the top will not be placed properly because the UI is now placed as a new one. Games like Blox Fruits, the UI is now not placed properly, games have to update their UI.

The new menu UI recently came out (just the People, Settings, Report, Help, Record thing) , beautiful UI !
I dont really comment on videos much, but I just want to say, on the new emoji part, that really helps. Normally, i would press the windows+. Button. That shows the emojis. Normally, that’s not a problem, but is becomes one when you are playing a first-person game like aperiphobia or the mimic. See, you have to move your mouse to press the emojis, but since you are locked into the screen, you can’t click anything, so you can’t use emojis. But the new emoji thing really helps.
P.S. for any new pc players out there: if you dont know how to chat in a first person game, press the ‘/‘ button on your keyboard. I remember not being able to chat, not knowing you could just press the ‘/‘ button.
i like the new one more i just think its more details and teh emoji thing is SOOOOOOOO GOOD
Some games like theme park tycoon 2 and some others have already added the emoji feature if some of you wanna try it
If you create a new game in Studio you should get the new chat with emoji by default

fun fact: the new roblox menu was actually out in the real roblox a couple months ago, but in the next update, it was removed. probably a mistake on roblox's end, which is why it was removed.
on topic of the video... to be honest, i wish they just kept the 2017 look of roblox. the classic red cheez it, the cool looking top bar, the easy-to-use menu, and the roblox chat that we're all familiar with today. probably not 2016, since roblox took a huge W changing the way the camera system on roblox worked
The new UI improvements look much better and I honestly don't get why people like old UI more just because they are "OGs" or something. Those new designs look mu þr and modern. (this isn't meant offensive)
Yeah I miss it. The new ones are too big and take up most of the screen. ESPECIALLY on mobile. I can barely play away from home. The 2017 menu didn't have that problem.
Ikr, I joined in 2018 and back then the ui was much better. This new one is just ugly and modern. The old ui was way better, especially the old chat icon. And the inventory was much easier to access in the old topbar. And now they ruined the in game menu too.. Roblox can solve this easily, just simply add an option like "In-game menu" and "In game topbar" and add a dropdown with options "Old (2015-2019)" and "New (2020-2023)" But obviously roblox is dumb and they wont do that..

Oh, this one. I remembered this menu while I was in Roblox Studio. I always thought it was a test menu or a dummy menu.

The chat is very hard to use when need fast type something and close it.
The new one is too hard to use just change back the chat and it will be fine

Are you guys seriously ignoring how this is going to affect gui in game? This is terrible for us game developers! It's blocking us SO MUCH SPACE. Roblox needs to stop fucking with the gui and actually do stuff the community wants

Everyone likes the new menu, but I don't. the old one was more convenient than the new one because you immediately had a leaderboard and you could look at the list of players and stuff like that
the old menu was good for its time but this menu is way better
The Keyboard shortcuts still exist, so those still work for the chat, leaderboard and stuff but the mobile/ tab players may find it difficult to get used to this.

This looks like it would only work on mobile and other smaller devices. First of all the current menu on mobile is too clunky and this seems like it would work well on mobile because of the button size. Also the icons seem compressed an they look like they have less pixels. That would also work on mobile because of the size of the screen. So this will probably only come to a few devices. Such as mobile and maybe the Microsoft store version.

The one bad thing that chat icon is on the other side of screen. Now i need just to press button and chat will open, but i will need to go to other side, click this button and then click chat button and go to other side again...
As someone who has been playing Roblox since 2016, I actually like the new menu. Its clean and more modern

It’s extremely horrible on mobile it was way more convenient last time now you need to constantly open and close the chat because the chat is gonna block 1/6 of the screen

OK so I used to have the old one until I played this game called Your avatar changes every second it got me that new layout but it is on the side /ima use dti as a example it covers photo mode
I think that moving the chat and inventory into a drop down menu makes little sense, other than that it's just another Roblox redesign and we gotta cope till we get used to it

the chat thing is so bad cause mobile players are used to it being on left of the screen, i hope it stays the same as now except for the esc menu. but it has problem for mobile players too cause reset character and leave button are switched places duhhhh

I'm really looking forward for the stupid permanent VC bubble above your character to be gone when this new menu rolls out. For the rest... It kinda seems like an unnecessary redesign. It doesn't make anything smoother, it just moves stuff around for the sake of it.
