Been a Stone Roses fan for 25 years. Hard to believe someone hadn't heard of them before.
Jimmy Page of the 90's
Second Coming guitar brilliance.
Born '89 but brought up listening and I still can't take myself away. Brilliant sound.
maybe my favourite song, strange it never got considered one of the stone roses best
The second album is better in my opinion than the first.
the guitar solo in this song is unreal
WHOA! Hadn't seen this before today. Thank you for using my video!! 😎
its quite cool seeing folk discover the stone roses for the first time
especially americans as they kinda flew under the radar over there I guess yet in the uk they are iconic
you need to check out fools gold, love spreads or iam the resurrection
so many good songs, the first album every track is great
As an American I missed this band completely, to be fair I was going to sea on submarines during the 80's and 90's. Thanks to my friend Luke from Manchester that introduced the band to me here in Thailand.
Jon Squire, the guitarist, in full Jimmy Page mode there. If you notice he even drops the opening to stairway to heaven during one of the guitar fills. Like the drummer Reni, Squire is something special
Mater piece of a song, The Stone Roses are criminally underrated.
One the best bands here in the UK. They went through a load of crap with their record company many years ago and never really recovered from that, but Tears from their second coming LP was well worth the wait, glad you enjoyed it as much me. They have plenty more music to choose from, check them out . All top Mancs
I am the resurrection, driving south, made of stone and This is the one 🙏✌️💛
The second comings is incredible... easily the roses best music from a technical standpoint...
yeah it's amazing, but I think it's very Squire driven and less the rest of the band, which caused the split partly, but Squires is a different class on the whole thing
Killer song, undeniable!!
Waterfall by the Stone Roses! Loving the channel!!
This is my favourite reaction vid of yours.. it’s clear to see you on the rollercoaster that is Tears.. class tune & keep up the grand work amigo ✌🏻
This is the one
Sally cinnamon
I am the ressurection
^^^^ amazing songs
Stone roses
Made of stone"where the streets are cold and lonely and the cars they burn below me"👏👏👌Ian brown.
Great song and great band. Check out the songs "I am the resurrection", and "Breaking into Heaven". Both start slow, but end on awesome. Fools Gold and Love Spreads are also good tunes. A friend of mine from Manchester just told me about the band a couple of weeks ago, so it is new to me also. Loved seeing your reaction to this song.

Outstanding
You need to listen to the song "Tightrope" by the Stone Roses. Follow your same procedure that you used before listening to this song. Enjoy.
Check out Oasis, they are another Massive Manchester band. They have so many amazing songs. Maybe try Champagne Supernova to start
Everyone: “just wait till’ you hear the fuckin solo mate...”
Hey RobDude, that was my recommendation! Thanks for doing, I knew you'd love it!
Now we have trust.... DO this!
First off take a fresh hit on that bong, then imagine the Grim Reaper came on the ferryboat, with a black guitar full of funk .... That 11 minute trip to the afterlife might sound like this!
The Stone Roses, Breaking into heaven (with Lyrics):

Concur, great recommendation and great song.
If you like Stone Roses you should listen "Suede". The "Dog man star" album is amazing
Try 'How do you sleep?' from the same Stone Roses album, Second Coming....
Very next track on that album
Subbed
Would really like to know if Jon Squire is still performing. He quit music for art once before
All these Stone Roses vids, but no Driving South!? Give it a whirl Rob....thank me later bud. Regards from Scotland. Saw Oasis at Loch Lomond 1996....Roses Spike Island 1990. Manchester music was class in the 80s & 90s. Well worth getting into if you like The Smiths, Stone Roses, Happy Mondays, Oasis etc.
Pls react to Stone Roses:
Driving South
Waterfall
America missed out on some great British Bands from the 90s.
and who is robk
Stone Roses were awsome and came before Oasis and heavily influenced them as well as many others groups. Next Try "How do you sleep" , and " Love Spreads " reminicent of Led Zep, off the same album, Second Comming.
Their first album "The Stone Roses"
When it came out in 1989, Was widely considered revolutionary , and a breath of fresh air, in the British music scene, which was mired in synth and pop. This was a return to Rock. Reni the drummer was incredible, very heavy and versitile, as well as John Squires guitar style, and writing. Ian Brown Vocals incerdible, Manny bass player, incerdible. They were a real band in every sense of the word. But in the end got screwed by their manager and tied up in legal hell for years, which led to their breakup. They did get back together though.
Just a shame Reni left the band after the album was recorded and we didn't get to see him play any of the Second Coming tracks live :/
The court case killed the band off, 5 years was too long between albums and the world had changed, and expectations were also too high. I wasn’t disappointed with second coming, I like its variety, but it is too overcooked and overlong and could have been three or four tracks shorter, but Tears is definitely one of the strongest tracks. Check out ‚Standing here’ and ‚Elephant Stone’ (12” version).
try the charlatans also a manchester band
Could not get into the second coming. All sounded similar apart from Ten story love song
