In Mexico we use sardines with circle hook on spining rod with 100lbs braid and 200lbs mono leader..

Capt Ray is the best swordfish fisherman. And not only that he is just one of the best all around offshore fisherman ever extreme knowledge. He is the reason we got into swording. And I agree night fishing is better for the average Joe. Plus you definitely get more chances with a bigger spread. I am just amazed that no one ever talks about trolling for them at night my team has caught multiple swordys trolling after we have done a drift over the humps of Miami dade Broward and then running back for the next drift we trolled specifically some custom Bahama Lures an have hooked and landed some nice swords absolutely amazing. There's a trick to it but when it happens oh my the boys on the boat get excited lol. Nothing like hearing the real scream in the middle of the night. Also I think if you want someone super cool on your show to explain swordfish behavior a man by the name of Dr. Arthur Marino who is friends with Captain Bouncer and I have personally fish with is amazing. He knows more than I can say about swordfish and there Behavior and he is a great guy. Thanks I always like your show. And please remember to take some kids fishing cause fishing changes lives.
