I am so happy for you guys! So cool to see you cheer each other on and stick with it! Amazing fish and tremendous job on the video! Tazin will be on so many bucket lists now, great work and thanks for sharing.
Looks like an epic trip, and that float plane seems like icing on the cake! Awesome work, very well deserved subscribe. I'm stoked to see where this channel goes!🙌
That is a massive lake trout, no doubt about it. However, in my opinion, that is not a 50 pound fish. My guess would be in the area of 37-42. I hope that my weight estimate does not come across as rude or disrespectful in any way. That is a trophy fish REGARDLESS of where you are and is definitely larger than any fish I have caught; and I’ve gone salmon fishing off the West Coast of BC. I just don’t think that is a 50 pound lake trout.
Beautiful fish, but neither of those fish is over 40 lbs. Hell, the second one isn't even 30. Takes one hell of a Laker to hit the 40 lb mark. Without weight a fish, one should not be calling out weights.
@@albertgetty9382 We don't know the girth!? But thanks for sharing that formula. It seems to depend heavily on what they eat, right? The 46 we saw was way skinner and the one Russ got was soo fat, turns out it had just ate! They could feel it in the belly.
What an adventure at Tazin!! How heavy do you guess these fish are??
1000 Pounds!!!

@@NicoleStoneOutdoors so jealous been to Northern Saskatchewan twice for Lakers, my biggest was only about 16 lbs . So I just think that's awesome.
Nice work. Beautiful fish. That trip will be hard to beat!! Tug is the Drug!! Cheers from berta.
Yess the tug is the drug! And this is one heck of a tug! Thanks for watching!
So happy for you. Thanks for coming to Saskatchewan, please come again and experience the walleye fishin. 😊
YESS PLEASE!!! I can't wait to come back!
The odds of catching a giant out there are just unmatched. I would go back every single season if I could!
Same!!! Such a dream destination!
Thats awesome. Time to start saving up. Bucket list. Congrats to both of you.
Thank you!!!

You girls are lucky
YEP! We kept saying, how lucky are we! Amazing trip.
An Epic fishery. Those giant lakers had to be pushing 40....maybe 50+ years old...
I would love to learn more about their lifespan. Such wild fish and an incredible fishery!!
Very Very nice
Thank you!!
👍
It's a spinning reel on a baitcaster pole. It's what they had available

I actually agree! Thanks for watching!

43" with a 27-28" girth.. look it up.
Great job, Nicole and Megan! 👏💪 My arms hurt just watching! Lol. 52 lbs. range?
Thank you Michael!!! Mid 40's was our best guess on both of the big ones!!
I would estimate that the fish were between 35-40 lbs
Bigger!
@@NicoleStoneOutdoors Length x girth x girth divided by 750. So 43" long and 27" girth = 42 pounds!

@@NicoleStoneOutdoors I guessed the girth. We didn't measure girth on either of mine, but I think they were pretty fat!
