I was recently diagnosed with scoliosis, working through physical therapy...and I've been dealing with some incredible amounts of tightness in my back that manifested as severe pain in my head. I tried this exercise, and it made me realize how tight and bad my control of my hips were...I was able to release tension in my hips and it loosened up muscles all the way up through my core and my spine. My jaw even started to stop clenching. Thank you so much for this!!

this is wonderful - i used to dance like ALOT - i did nearly anything you can come up with . Flamenco and belly dancing really helped with that centre core stride. I love the coyote references. Since my accident to my right knee i've gotten thrown way off - somedays i can still stride but when i'm in pain i stumble - walk - what i call being ungrounded walking

Glad to hear this lesson was good for you. The coyote series was so helpful for simple core connection.

wonderful sequence. I feel like there's a possibility to learn how to move differently, and let go of hip/groin pain.

I loved it, I felt like I was walking with my hips, and then walking I felt the soles of my feet connected with the floor. Thank you Annie.

Thank you very much for this lesson. I am a bit confused. When I walk, my arms swing and my chest moves too. If I keep my chest quiet, I notice that my hips are more active. I have found you recently , and I think your lessons are very gentle and effective. I tried the hip lesson with the roller yesterday. Thanks once again.

You are welcome-- give this some time. Coordination at this core level may feel a bit confusing at first. It's normal for arms to swing when you walk. The whole body is connected in the walking movement through the core.
