Hello, we are wondering if you know anything about the following, we have a fb page that has NOT yet turned into a "profile" and was wondering if there was anyway to help fb along and making it happen? ( our page is still on the 2020 version update ; the that followed the classic FB ) if you know what we mean.

I am an Admin of a Page, and have been trying to change the Page name, every 7 days, for the last 4 weeks. I constantly get a message saying "you are unable to make additional requests at this time" I've tried to connect with Facebook, without success, and do not understand why a simply and legal name change cannot happen. There are no violations on the Page. It has 29K followers. I hope you can shed some light! Thanks and HNY!

Please advise. When it comes to a brand new business page, what kind of names will facebook reject against their name and ad policies. For example : Afrimoney University. Is there a way to check that prior to naming the page?
People should be able to change their name anytime they want FB needs to correct that

Hola i trying to change my regular page using the word master in front of my name i see other people doing this and i cant this is for martial i do have my personal page and my bussines page
When I try to change the error says “unable to make an additional request” I’m the admin of my page and have gotten this error since the first attempt.
I got a deed poll and my HKID is not yet out but the government gave me a document paper (Temporal ID before they finish making the ID card) I uploaded it along with the Deed Poll copy, and Facebook kept rejecting them

Damn I had been trying to update a FB page name for quite a while and it kept failing when doing it through desktop but I just tried it on my phone through the app and it worked straight away! I forget sometimes to try across all platforms so thanks for this! 😄
Same here. Using phone worked. I am doing two step process though by adding what I wanted and leaving the previous but I may not even have had to do that...

Thanks. I had the hardest time with this. Nothing worked until I figured out that FB had a problem with my last name since it has the word bi$%& in it:)). The funny thing is I created an original name with this name since its my last name lol...a long time ago...but now it wouldn't let me change it

Hi Mikaila, please pin this comment as many of us are having the same issue. I found the fix. So if you're not being allowed to change your page name and getting the error "you are unable to make additional requests at this time" here's what worked for me. Open your facebook on your desktop, go to your page. Click on the three dots right above where you go to post and click on "switch to classic pages." This will convert your account back to the old format, try to change your name using that format. It should give you the same error, but then go to your phone and open the facebook app there and you'd probably be prompted to sign back in. If it does then sign in and go to your page there now which would have the old format and change the name and viola! It went through once I tried it from the phone. Then you go back to the desktop and click the three dots again and switch back to the new pages and the name will be changed. It took me dang near an hour trying to find the solution but someone else hinted to this and I tried it and it worked, so this is the process I used, every step. Comment if you're not finding any part of what I said, but you should if you follow step by step. Hope this solves the issue for you as well. I was going crazy waiting weeks with no name change. Please help! So I changed my buisness name on facebook and now the new buisness name shows up under pages only when I search for it. It does not allow me to switch back and fourth between personal and buinsess. Do I have to completley delete my page and create a new one now?
If you are unable to switch between page and profile or don't see the menu after clicking on the page picture, you should first close the browser or the app. Then, try clearing the cache and cookies for the Facebook website. Learn how to clear the cache on any platform.

We should go back to Classic and from there it was just 2 seconds. I used facebook just on PC (I dont need in my private life) but this time I downloaded the mobile App changed there now its fine. I can delete again from my mobile :))
