An idea for what to do with mirrors someone might be removing: Put them near your plants, where they catch the light and reflect them to benefit your plants' growth. Or just put them next to windows to reflect more light into the room. As a mom of two very active boys one of our cats is taking care of my resting times. Whenever she thinks, that I need a break (and she's absolutely great in recognizing that!) she'll jump onto my lap and won't let me get up, growling at others getting close to me and make me get a few minutes for myself and some furry cuddles. I love her.

Loved this ☺️ love how you mentioned about sexual health and self-pleasure. I think a lot of you-tubers are too embarrassed/scared to mention this aspect of self care
On the subject of B12: If you're genuinely deficient in this, it's important to go get a course of shots from a nurse or doctor before starting supplementation, because supplements don't absorb very well. Sublingual oral B12 spray or wafers are better, so I would suggest those. Packaging could be an issue (although there are glass bottle varieties, and a lot of tablets come in variants of plastic and foil regardless), but whatever method you choose, just make sure it's actually working, because if you're struggling with tablets or diet alone, consider switching over. Your health is one of those situations where it comes first. We all hate plastic straws, but is there a single non-psychotic person who wouldn't consider them necessary for, say, someone with Parkinson's who can't hold a cup? Well, no-one is complaining if you need a few B12 shots and the syringes go in the bin (and if this is from a vegan diet, you've realistically off-set enough not to fret over the waste it causes by needing some supplementation). On a secondary note, at the practice I worked at, while vegans and even some vegetarians *should* have routinely reported more often as B12 deficient (because it's almost impossible to get sufficiently from a vegan diet, and difficult to get from a vegetarian diet. I say that as a vegetarian of over a decade, so that's not a critique), and yet we were oddly getting more non-vegan/non-vegetarian people coming in as B12 deficient in recent times, despite the fact that their diet should be rich in it. A lot of the vegans were starting to show improved B12 levels, and I have no idea why. Has food quality/farming quality gone down so dramatically that daily meat eaters are somehow B12 deficient? Or perhaps it's the rise of alcohol consumption? Even moderate amounts of alcohol will deplete your B12, so take this into consideration if you're low or vegan. Definitely avoid drinking a beer or alcoholic wine daily in that situation. Try to drink occasionally, rather than regularly, or take frequent breaks (enjoy some alcohol here and there for the first two weeks of the month, but not the second half, as two weeks seems to be the threshold for inhibiting gastrointestinal absorption). B12 sources for veggies: Drink lots of unsweetened aloe vera (4 to 8 ounces in juice or water daily if taking for B12). Sprinkle (fortified, if possible) nutritional yeast onto your salads, cooked veg, grain bowls, baked potatoes, and into soups and sauces. Experiment with Marmite or the low-sodium B12-enriched Vegemite. Both effectively taste like soy sauce, and the trick is to make hot toast, "butter" it, and then scrape (not spread) it on as if you're just grazing the bread with seasoning. To this, you can add slices of avocado for a further treat. I've never done it, but you could sprinkle on nutritional yeast to boost the B12 content further and get a cheesy kick. You can also use Vegemite or Marmite like you would soy sauce in cooking. That is, you can mix a little with water to make broth/stock, or you can mix in a bit into a vegetarian bean or soy meat, etc, burger/meatball/shepard's pie for an umami flavour.
I really appreciate your approach of "every little bit helps". I am an omnivore but I have some fantastic vegetarian/vegan recipes I eat regularly, simply because I like them. You suggest but don't preach. Honestly, I think you will bring larger cumulative change than the all or nothing preachy vegans I have met in person.
Let me add one from myself: take care of your posture (pelvic floor and pilates are a great option :D), breathing and there's actually a thing called tongue posture so definitely check if yours is correct! Have a nice day everyone ♥️
Choosing discomfort has completely changed my life! It's always short term and then you feel amazing after and praise yourself for going after what truly lights you up 😍💛
You're talking about so many important things I am still working on implementing into my daily life. Letting go of negative thoughts and people is one of the hardest things I am currently trying to make a habit. (By the way, All the Light We Cannot See is one of my favorite books!)
I WAS SO HAPPY THAT YOU SAID RESPECT PEOPLES PRO-NOUNS!!!!!! im non-binary and it makes me sad when people say "its just 2 words why do i have to address you as they/them?" like :D how about you shut up and address me as they/them
So true! I'm not nb but I don't get it when people don't just say this simple word that literally doesn't cost them anything AND respects someone's identity ! Some people are so mean and do this stuff on purpose to provoke and its disgusting ♥
I don't usually comment on many videos, but this one was beautiful. I've been watching your vids for a little while, and I always feel so much "lighter" afterwards and you've helped me change my perspective on a few things (Wellness, food, taking your time in life) and I thank you for that. Keep doing what you're doing, you're appreciated.
I’m so happy you put your thinx link on here. I was really struggling with the price of the undies as I’m a college student and debt is already piling. Well it turns out they are having a sale and your link with the discounted price allowed me to get the undies I needed and have been wanting for a while. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!

@Emma’s Day thank you for everything you are doing in these times of great need. risking your health to help others every single day. I really appreciate it and wish you the best 🤍
if anyone needs another nudge to start journaling, do it! I’m not even kidding it changed my life. personally it has helped me so much whenever I am going through something to feel like I can relax. 💛
It may or may not matter to you, but you helped remind me to take my B12 and D3 today. I almost forgot! Also, thank you so much for these wonderful videos. I am so happy I found your channel through the random algorithm here as it is the positive reinforcement and gentle guidance I need to start heading toward a more plant-based life as well as becoming as close as I can to zero/minimal waste. You are an affirmative and gentle soul helping others to live a better life. You aren't pushy or judgmental and you aren't trying to load your viewers down with facts. You focus on all the things people have forgotten about personal development. I really just want to say thank you. :)
My favorite moment: “literally fuck what box society wants to put you in. You’re flipping great just the way you are!” Yassssss Immy! Made my morning. ❤️
Practice gratitude every day. Journal it, thank your Creator and those around you that bring wholeness into your life. Today it was the repairman who made a special trip on his day off to bring back my power saw he'd fixed. I thanked him verbally by letting him know what this meant to my self-sufficiency and added a few extra dollars as a tip.
Pro tip: Get your HPV vaccine to prevent cervical cancer! It's recommended for women/cervix-havers below 26, and most effective when taken before you become sexually active. If you are older or a man/non-cervix-haver, you might still consider getting vaccinated to reduce your chance of getting cervical cancer or to prevent transmission of HPV or other types of cancer. This is a hugely effective vaccine that's been a very exciting development in the last few decades.
I found myself nodding along to practically all of these! I’m so glad that you mention sexual health and pleasure. And it was lovely to see such happy films of you and your partner. I’ve been trying to do more of these self care things, and even the tiniest changes make such a difference. A really lovely video in a really lovely and constructive series. Thank you! X
Immy! Thank you for this series! I’ve been questioning all of this new age spirituality I’ve seen on the internet that teaches mindfulness, but glosses over everyday, mundane realities. This is the type of mindfulness I truly appreciate.
I totally changed my mindset today by just watching this video. I really don’t like my job but I saw this just before my shift and I faced it in a really different way. Thank you ❤️✨ new subscriber here!
This is the first video of this type I’ve watched and didn’t feel crap about myself afterwards! I also paused it to go and fill up my water glass (I’ve just been for a run and need a huge amount of rehydration, it’s 29C here at the moment) so, all in all, another excellent post 👍 Stay safe and happy xxx
Hey Linda... you’re amazing... running, drinking H20... damn, you’re inspiring me girl!! My decades old Achilles tendonitis has recently been acting up... ARGH!... so instead of walking I have taken to wild swimming. There are several pretty remote lakes near my house, and the weather is brutal... so I have the whole lake to myself. Don’t ya just love the way exercise makes ya feel alive? Enjoy the sun, and if you’re feeling overheated, please send that golden globe of warmth over the pond and way out west. Take care my friend, and keep riding that health train.
Mary Charlebois Hi, wild swimming sounds amazing and having the lake to yourself must be wonderful. There is nowhere near here to do it and even the pools are still closed due to the evil Covid 😢 I’d love to send you some sunshine from our current heatwave (did somebody say global warming was a myth?) but it’s really cloudy meaning it’s also very humid. It would be perfect to be able to leap into a lake or the sea and let the world float away for a while. I should have run much earlier when it was cooler but I’m a real slow starter in the morning, I didn’t want to put it off until tomorrow when it’s forecast to be even hotter. I hope the ankle settles down again soon and you can enjoy walking again. Take care of yourself L x
I find that giving others compliments makes both of us feel good. Tell someone you like their hair, make up, clothing what ever. It doesn't have to be major.
Myself Being a Women’s Health Physiotherapist from India, overwhelmed by your focus on pelvic floor exercises.... also it goes without saying that this video is a must see for all the people out there....
I love Esther Perel, she is phenomenal❤️. I would reccomend insight timer for meditation, really helped me to develop a habit and mediate regularly for the past 3 years. Great video, thanks🙏
For those of you trying to get into meditation: I recommend the Insight Timer App 😊 You can set up reminders, go through guided practices, filter by your need at the moment (if you're feeling anxious, stressed, sleepless, etc.) I have my timer first thing in the morning for boosting self-esteem and listen to some positive affirmations throughout the day.
I used to take the 3 minutes it took my kettle to boil for my morning coffee every day to stand by my favourite window in the house and really concentrate on being in the present moment, or ‘meditate’. Now that I’ve moved, I’ve found it really hard to keep up and I miss the calm mindset it used to put me in so much! Loved the video 💛
So loving these videos. Finding them very helpful with some of the changes going on around me at the moment. Some changes are out of my control and some are of my choice. With my youngest daughter out at uni and turning 50 next year your videos are helping me find myself again and transition into a new chapter. Thank you very much. Xx
Hello... I just wanted to welcome you to the 50+ generation. It’s a wild ride... enjoy the change as you dive into a new and exciting chapter of your life.
Mary Charlebois thank you. After raising three daughters on my own it’s definitely going to be a journey 😂 lockdown has really been a time of reflection and new direction for me. Going to embrace it all. The good the bad and the ugly. 💃
@@karenbransome6978 Wow, you’re an amazing mom and an inspiring woman. Reflection is key as we journey ahead... take the best of the past with you into your future as you move in new directions. Good on your for embracing life... and accepting change.
B Lisles Enby’s ? What’s that, I thought? Then I read it out loud NBs , Non Binary! Duh 🙄. I love how new, inclusive words are entering our language. Hope today is a good one x
I love this, since lockdown many things have gin wrong in my life and trying to pull myself together and be kinder to myself so this helped a lot, thank you ❤️
This video is so calming and nice to watch. You talk so openly about important things that are tabu for so many people, just like it's not a big deal, I think that is soooo important and amazing of you! I will be going back to this video a lot, girl! It's a good reminder to stay good for ourself, planet and others ;*
I love how open you are about mental health, sex, pleasure etc etc. I get some weird looks when I’m so open but I don’t care. I won’t be silenced. Where abouts do you live? I’m guessing down south somewhere? That lady you’re with, with the sunglasses and white top... dancing in the street... she’s *BEAUTIFUL* and I love her smile. Thank You for sharing and reminding us to look after ourselves better. xxx
Your red bird bed sheets are so beautiful. I need to buy a pair (after donating mine before an overseas move). I would normally prioritise sustainability factors instead of, "Oh my goodness, those are gorgeous!," but I've been searching for an almost identical set for exactly 10 years now, and it really would bring me so much joy to know where you bought them from or who made them, assuming they're not handmade or secondhand.
I’m certainly no expert on sheets or bedding, but I saw below in the comments somebody else asking the same question about the red bird sheets. The reply comment stated that these sheets are “Strawberry Thief” by William Morris. Maybe this is the information you were looking for, hopefully this is helpful to you. Have a great day.
This video led me to subscribe! You’ve inspired me in less than 15 minutes so much. Your channel is so calming and your filming style is also inspiring for me. You are doing amazing things with this theory. Thank you so much ❤️
Amazing video! I really love this series you're doing 😊 I just started doing meditation and affirmations and its made such a difference in my emotional health! As always thanks for the great book recommendations! ✌❤🌎
Fantastic job!! This is going to help so many people! I actually do most of these habits and each one has made my life better in some way. Definitely worth trying. Also health! So glad you had several check up habits, general physical, mental, sexual its all important
Thank you so much for this video! I totally agree with you on the reading and thinking tip. I read somewhere that 'to read without reflecting is like to eat without digesting' and I find it applies so much. Also your suggestion about appreciating women around us- girrrrrrrl, yes. I found an interesting perspective with FDS on Reddit last year, and since then I've really tried to work on that instinctive 'I'm better than she is' response we're taught to inculcate. It's not a race, we're all in it together, and will probably get farther when we can switch it off and appreciate each other. It's such a lighter and more positive outlook!
Actually I needed to put this to my favourites playlist here on youtube, bc I feel like I need to listen to this again and again and again, so I can really absorb your kind and positive message and hopefully do more of these things you mentioned 😅
Hey, I found your Channel a few Days ago and I am absolutly in love with it. After watching a video I always feel productive, but also positive and save. One of the best things is the realistic view you have and show: you can´t always be getting lots of things done. It´s okay if you take smal steps and only what is suitable for you. Some other TH-camrs or book authers are forgetting this! I myself just started my journey to a more mindfully lifestile, and your Videos are soooo amazing and helpfull! Altough it´s only on the internet, it does kinda feel like a save space where I can be kind to myself. Thank you for doing what you are doing!
My blue light glasses have literally been life changing. I stand in front of a computer for 8+ hours a day and when I wear my glasses I am far less fatigued! I used to be wiped out when I got home but now I actually have energy! Thanks for all these tips, I will be incorporating some for sure.

Thank you so much for posting this video. It was really inspiring, every point that hit me, I took the time to research and reflect before continuing watching the video. Thank you for taking the time to come up with such an awesome list of things to consider.
I love this video (and the other ones I've seen so far too). How do you know all this stuff? I'm nearly 60 and I'm only just finding out some of it now! And I've spent most of my life moving in this direction! Well, this makes me feel a lot happier about the next generations in charge of the planet because my lot are making a right cock-up of things! Well done. I've subscribed.
This was such a great video, it started my day off right and your voice is so calming, I could listen to it all day. Thank you for normalizing periods, sex and mental health. Love your message :)
Amazing video! Can I just make the point that you should be applying A LOT more SPF to your face than Immy does in the clip (I’m sure she’s just reapplying and so doesn’t need as much). 20 mins before you go outside your should be covering your whole face in it - and don’t forget your ears! Xxx

Thank you Tessa! I truly believe that every bit counts and no one knows anyone elses situation, so it's so important we never judge
I WAS SO HAPPY THAT YOU SAID RESPECT PEOPLES PRO-NOUNS!!!!!! im non-binary and it makes me sad when people say "its just 2 words why do i have to address you as they/them?" like :D how about you shut up and address me as they/them
If it's just two words then why is it so hard for people to JUST SAY THEM! Right here with you to support you!!
So true! I'm not nb but I don't get it when people don't just say this simple word that literally doesn't cost them anything AND respects someone's identity ! Some people are so mean and do this stuff on purpose to provoke and its disgusting ♥
I was happy to notice that many of those habits I already do. Things I'm def going to do, are: pelvic floor exercises, pilates and time tracking.
Celebrating and feeling good creates habits, not repetition. I love this and I'm now using it as my daily mantra, thanks!!
Really appreciate this comment ❤️
I’m so happy you put your thinx link on here. I was really struggling with the price of the undies as I’m a college student and debt is already piling. Well it turns out they are having a sale and your link with the discounted price allowed me to get the undies I needed and have been wanting for a while. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!
roll roll roll your quads gently to your knee! LOVE IT. Your soft voice makes this video perfect, your whole aesthetic is 'simplicity'- Gorgeous. Being a nurse I LOVE how much health-related tips you included! CHECKS CHECKS CHECKS before its too late! Great content! xx
Thanks Emma!! Really appreciate your comment ❤️❤️❤️
@Emma’s Day thank you for everything you are doing in these times of great need. risking your health to help others every single day. I really appreciate it and wish you the best 🤍
I was so guilty after self pleasure but finally I understood it is a part of self care thank you for talking about it girl❤️🙏🏻
I would love to see you make a video that lists TH-cam channels that you enjoy. I’m always looking for new content.
if anyone needs another nudge to start journaling, do it!
🙌 love this series❤
Yay I'm glad you are ❤️🙏🏻
@@SustainablyVegan ❤❤
PERFECT timing for this video 🙌🏼
My favorite moment: “literally fuck what box society wants to put you in. You’re flipping great just the way you are!” Yassssss Immy! Made my morning. ❤️
🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
My favourite moment too!! We need to hear more of this! Have a great day 😃
Practice gratitude every day.
Thank you! X
im watching this with headphones at the dinning room table and my friend saw me nodding and started nodding haha
Immy! Thank you for this series! I’ve been questioning all of this new age spirituality I’ve seen on the internet that teaches mindfulness, but glosses over everyday, mundane realities. This is the type of mindfulness I truly appreciate.
So glad you put things in about sexual health and getting tested cause everyone really don’t talk about it and they should!
Your channel is so inspiring. Thank you for putting the English subtitles!
You're very welcome! Glad they're helpful 😘
This is really helpful
You‘re such a HUGE inspiration to me, please never stop making videos!
I love the way you take into consideration the diversity of human beings. Your videos are really inspiring, thank you!
You have expressed so much in these two amazing sentences. I enjoyed reading your comment... a lot! Well said.
Brilliant, as always - thank you, hope you are keeping well x
For those of you trying to get into meditation: I recommend the Insight Timer App 😊 You can set up reminders, go through guided practices, filter by your need at the moment (if you're feeling anxious, stressed, sleepless, etc.) I have my timer first thing in the morning for boosting self-esteem and listen to some positive affirmations throughout the day.
Brilliant! I have been following you for years and the quality and variety in content is unbelievable. Thank you for all your work!
ah this makes me so so happy to hear! I'm glad you stuck around and are pleased that you did xx
i like this montage, very nice, straight forward, informative, perfect
THE BEST LIST. Thank you ☮️ 💜
Wow! Excellent. My dailies: pray (Baha'i), meditate (briefly), self-acupressure (dry brushing), scent (lavender), breathe (diaphramic), diet (plant-based), laugh (friends/videos), exercise (walking), learn (often science), read positive belief system (Baha'i), music (harmonious), fast (intermittent), supplement (selective), find beauty (anywhere), sleep (circadian), work (as worship), get support (or socialize/help someone) :-) ~ Most ideas by Abdul-Baha, Baha'i Faith
Thanks for putting pronouns in for the Enby's like me!! Being seen is wonderful.
Always xx
B Lisles Enby’s ? What’s that, I thought? Then I read it out loud NBs , Non Binary! Duh 🙄. I love how new, inclusive words are entering our language. Hope today is a good one x
@@lindatait5326 Amazing! Socially distanced friend meeting! Thanks :)
It's a good reminder to stay good for ourself, planet and others ;*
you are literally such an amazing youtuber. thank you for all of the effort that you put into this masterpiece!! :)
“Masterpiece”... good one! You nailed it!!! I love it!!! Hope you’re having a great day 😃
I love how open you are about mental health, sex, pleasure etc etc. I get some weird looks when I’m so open but I don’t care. I won’t be silenced. Where abouts do you live? I’m guessing down south somewhere? That lady you’re with, with the sunglasses and white top... dancing in the street... she’s *BEAUTIFUL* and I love her smile. Thank You for sharing and reminding us to look after ourselves better. xxx
Your videos are like gentle encouragement to do better and I'm so here for it!
@@marycharlebois6627 I owe you such a gigantic thank you for taking the time to share this with me!
@@michaelafischer6177 You are very welcome, I was glad to help out... it was no problem at all. Greetings to you from 🇨🇦, and have a great week ahead.
WOW! Love how inclusive and real this list is.
This was lovely and covered so many important areas! Thank you Immy!
This video led me to subscribe! You’ve inspired me in less than 15 minutes so much. Your channel is so calming and your filming style is also inspiring for me. You are doing amazing things with this theory. Thank you so much ❤️
Ah thank you so much for this feedback!! It really means a lot ❤️
Amazing video! I really love this series you're doing 😊 I just started doing meditation and affirmations and its made such a difference in my emotional health! As always thanks for the great book recommendations! ✌❤🌎
Another amazing and beautifully shot video!
Thaaaank you. It took a loooooooong time haha (as you know) xx
Fantastic job!! This is going to help so many people! I actually do most of these habits and each one has made my life better in some way. Definitely worth trying. Also health! So glad you had several check up habits, general physical, mental, sexual its all important
This is the best habit video I have ever seen. I came back to watch it a second time
I am so happy you exist and for everything you do and would love to know more people like you!
Beautiful, wholesome, relaxing, inspirational aand a bit feisty - yey! x
Yay, thank you!
This is so wholesome. Thank you!
Yesss. This is it. Normal nothing fancy just simple and real. Love this
Hey, I found your Channel a few Days ago and I am absolutly in love with it.
Great video! Thank you for sharing some great tips.
My blue light glasses have literally been life changing. I stand in front of a computer for 8+ hours a day and when I wear my glasses I am far less fatigued! I used to be wiped out when I got home but now I actually have energy! Thanks for all these tips, I will be incorporating some for sure.
I love this series of yours, there are so many inspiring and helpful tips, thanks a lot!! Me too
Omg this video was posted on my birthday lol btw really cool advices, thank you for sharing

I'm nearly 60 and I'm only just finding out some of it now! thank you Immy, this video was a wonderful reminder that I am practicing healthy habits - and always open for new ones! Love your content girl
Amazing video! Can I just make the point that you should be applying A LOT more SPF to your face than Immy does in the clip (I’m sure she’s just reapplying and so doesn’t need as much). 20 mins before you go outside your should be covering your whole face in it - and don’t forget your ears! Xxx
