This company boss had a great idea this morning: Hey, let's throw away tons of very expensive and perfectly new machinery parts that are probably desperately needed by someone somewhere to keep their machines working 😇
Yup, stock write offs are a terrible waste of money, but the bean counters say it's gotta go. I've seen millions of £'s worth of inventory thrown in skips (dumpsters) and written off because it was costing too much to keep it in stock and it wasn't moving! Seems absolutely ridiculous to me.

It's crazy how mich metal gets thrown in the trash. Mike's just getting a drop of it. The value of just the scrap metal thrown away could really change several people's lives, just crazy to me

Hydraulic pump $400+, black loader teeth $100+ each, yellow cutting edges $75+each. Track sections $100+ each over $2000 worth of stuff in that dumpster on that stuff alone. Take all of that stuff to a Grading company and make good bank.
And the rest, he's probably getting $350 for $10k worth of perfectly good parts (if you know what they are off and have someone to sell them to)!
That skid steer quick hitch must be worth $500-600 alone?

I used to work for a company in the UK who repaired shovel loaders and compactors, we used to go to industrial tips where insurance right offs were disposed of, tool kits with a socket missing ,carpets which were not collected , boxes of screws by the thousand ,what a waste but the tip operators always had good holidays.

Good score dude. I am where Helene hit here in Florida and now we are going to get hit directly by Milton. There will be scrap for months and months here. I am making $200.00 a day scrapping. After Milton I will be making a lot more.

Yeah Mike I live in Clearwater Fl can’t leave elderly parent an pups. Pups can make the ride Pops cannot so hunkering down to ride it out. Pray for me an my other half along with pops an pups we live 4 miles from the beach an we don’t live in an evacuation area , sooooo pray for us cause I would be lying if I didn’t say I’m a bit scared.
Just put on a new roof , new ac system an literally Friday a new water heater.

MTS seems like he's in this for his TH-cam channel only, and that is so unfortunate especially when we've been allowed to see so many amazing finds over the years! MTS should have different types of buyers for a lot of his scrap finds. Cash in the trash should be all business 😅
He's said before it's finding the right buyer. I doubt he has the place all of this for the length of time it might take to find a buyer and ship
