@Joe Hamlet it’s been working for me! I suppose it would be easier to cut the longs longer, but I prefer shorter because I have to move them more than once because of the layout of my property etc. plus the kids need to be able to move them. @@EZBoilerUser I've found for drying out pieces a little greener than I'd like it works wanders ! Also on real big pieces kinda preheat heats them a little . Just curious when your boiler isn't running and is up to temp ,,draft door is closed does she smoke bad ?? I know it depends on material you are burning ,,,,, im using all hard wood ,,zero pine ,,,, most of my stock is seasoned well and the pieces that aren't get tossed in rear of boiler . Keep video coming stay warm !
Is that a half pint in your back pocket?🤣 the few blocks of wood in the back work nice to bring up on your coal bed, I stuff mine to the nuts but only fill it once a day keeping a vacant 1800sq house at 60 degrees near the Alpena area, good stoves for the price
I think I'm going to try and throw my sycamore (this years) in the back at night and see what I have the next morning!? "One of these years" (LOL)...I'll have 2 or 3 years worth of wood cut & stacked in advance.
