      They don't test in the NCAAs. And truth be told, this is where MANY countless top athletes are juicing to the hilt, no holds barred. This is also why many collegiate athletes can never replicate the times they hit in college after transitioning to the pros (or they have a hard time). They don't know how to transition their PEDs programs to the pros.

    • @TunesOfTheEarth
      @TunesOfTheEarth 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @mellowmonsoon278 the top Americans get tested by FAR more than any other athletes in the world. Sha'Carri has been tested 15 times already this season. 15 times!

    • @TunesOfTheEarth
      @TunesOfTheEarth 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @mellowmonsoon278 wrong. You can't avoid getting caught if you're getting tested all the time. You need training blocks where you are unlikely to get tested to pull it off. Some athletes use only androgynous hormones and take them only at night and this decreases the likelihood of getting caught. If you only get tested a few times a year (like most international athletes) it's very easy to get away with it.

      In the case of the first two, it's much easier to microdose and have testing done in order to make sure that one doesn't exceed the limits. Also for men the testosterone to epitestorone is set at 3:1 most athletes would be 1:1, so taking testosterone to hit this limit is not cheating officially.

We need to get out of all this stupid little cat-and-mouse, whack-a-mole bullshit which continuously tarnishes the name of the sport and just get rid of testing altogether. Then they can make all "natural" amateur leagues. That's what bodybuilding did and that's what track and field should do. Everyone thinks they want this sport completely drug free? What I would really love to see more of is more education on doping from either World Athletics or even some of the best athletes currently and how it can physically affect someone negatively down the line possibly in their lives. Some people are desperate and struggling and want to fast track themselves to the top and others are greedy and want more to run, throw or jump better to get the money/prizes etc.
    Something needs to be done to educate those in the sport and those entering the sport about the severity of doping. Not just for cheating but the ramifications you can suffer with short term or long term in your body. Otherwise, it's going to lead to more bans and more health related issues in the future.

Many of you might be unaware, but during my travels, it would seem that india / indians has an unfortunate stigma of being classed as cheats and corrupt. It's like a way of life to be that way.
