This has been my favorite video of stripping down hemp from its stalk and slowly transformed into fabric. I really enjoyed the Hmong women speakers who shared their hemp process. Thank you!! 💜

Thank you so much for the information, and production of this video, I really appreciate your willingness to share your people’s knowledge and values with everyone, it’s also very admirable that your people wear only 100% organic clothes when they are burried!! Also bilingual, so awesome!
Loved this, I was randomly wondering how to turn hemp into textile, and this is one of the best videos, if i could suggest one little thing, would be to ad some subtitles. Once again great content, thanks for the knowledge.

Premature, you can also do this with medical grade industrial hemp also, but these folks chop before budding process of the plant, because crop turnover is fairly fast.
It appears that the fibers are hand twined, maybe three fibers together, then washed, then wound onto multiple bobbins, then wound into a big skein, soaked in hot water with wax, and put straight onto the loom. Does that seem right

Do these have plants still contain flowers or are they premature

Did they spin any fibres together at any point?
I don't think so.
