- I've been working on this all week and it was totally worth it. It's a fun and budget friendly way to make your own big cactus plant that looks realistic. Who knew pool noodle projects could be so cute!!

I was so scared it would turn out looking cheesy LOL😬 Every time Tony comes in the house he giggles and says " UM😂 hunny I think the cactus grew an inch" Funny guy! Than yesterday he decided to play a prank on me and said he watered it when I left the house for errands!! I WAS LIKE WHAT which cactus did you water?? !!! HAHA 😂 Always pulling my leg! Yes it's pretty inexpensive! GIRL I'm always on a tight budget! They charge an arm and a leg for pretty things like this nowadays even though it's plastic 😕!

I live this idea. If succulents turn black, your over watering. Water once a month in winter (when in house) and the water needs to drain out.

I work with plaster all the time and you can add water if it starts to harden to quickly. Just make sure you mix it so there are no lumps.
