I would like to mention Junaid Jamshaid here. Saying that "bas mujhe uski hi talaash hai" then performing songs and music is hypocritical. Junaid Jamshaid sir bhi pehle gaane gaate the but unhe jab Allah mile tou unho nai apna pura lifestyle badal diya. Its sad to see that Atif Aslam holds such potential yet he uses that potential in music instead of Naats, (also before anyone says that he too performs naats, doing many sins and then doing little good deeds won't get you anywhere).

i was a big audiophile and a fan of ATIF ASLam. i would say he is confused in sufisim. As sufisim values match with his life style. you can see most singers are suffis as suffisim allows these kind of things such as singing etc and has nothing to do with Quran and Tawheed. may Allah guide him and us. wish to hear Quran recitation in Atif's voice

This man is not confused between Deen and dunya. My heart says he loves Allah and Rasool S.A.W. please don't judge him. Just listen to the naats he has recited , the deep love and passion which most of the naatkhwan nowadays don't possess.
