As a Latina I always know that the chambelanes will most likely get dirty or mess up their shoes, etc. that’s just because they’re regular boys that are friends or family members and they don’t ever really take it seriously (only when the mom shows up to yell at them) so it’s expected. No offense but nobody except the parents and the quinceañera care about making everything run smooth which always sucks. I kind of blame the boys and the damas but it’s to be expected. They’re a bunch of 14-16 or so year olds so 🤷🏽♀️

What my cousin did for her quinceañera is she had pictures of just her, days before the quinceañera. Then when it was the big day and we all went to to the limo right we had 2 hours so 1 hour we went somewhere and took pictures of just her, the damas, and her 2 chambalans, no parents or other family just us. Then at the party later on she took pictures with everybody else with the photographer.
for my quince we went on the limo and we went to this really pretty place to take pictures. it was just my court and me and my brothers came in a separate car later on. i took my pictures the week before and we were just taking the court pictures. we were running a bit late but it was fine bc we got to the place quicker than usual. we spent about an hour and a half taking pictures and we ate something for like 20 minutes before we had to leave to the venue and we made it back with 10 minutes to spare.
but like what the guy said,Damas shouldn’t wear the same color as the quinceñera. it’s gonna outshine her. maybe if it was simple like the white dress . other than that it wasn’t gonna look good.
