Yeah that's what I was thinking throughout the video. She shouldn't be complimenting her she should be throne receiving compliments. Vipasha, I have been playing your version on repeat ever since I discovered it a few days ago. I started crying the second I heard it, resonating to the lyrics so perfectly. Its crazy how much you can relate to lyrics sometimes. I've been living in my toxic desi household for far too long, and It has brought me so much trauma and pain. My energy has been non existent. I finally decided to leave, I could have a long time ago, but have been fearful of open threats from my family. But I know I have so much potential, I move out next month. When I heard the lyrics, I heard "I ran away from this world, from all the talks and questions, nobody knows (or I don't know), Im dancing in the rain, and I finally have peace. There is nothing left for me here" That was my interpretation (Im mostly fluent in Sindhi, not so much or Urdu/hindhi so thats what I got from it, so much meaning and power.
