Is there a reason you use Map gas rather than acetylene? Also, would it be better to use a brazing-style tip like the one in your video or would a rosebud tip be better at spreading the heat around the crucible more evenly?

Just to mention, Mapp with normal air will melt silver and gold with no issues at all. It will melt copper too but can be tough to get it to a pour temperature.
Rob Breckenridge actually rob if you have the proper torch head you can just use propane i can melt 6 OzT in my crucible with the bernzomatic torch head i use it is a bernzomatic JT539 swirl flame torch head. melts gold and silver quite beautifully works on up to a full troy Lb if you use a furnace and an A1 crucible this guys joke of a plumbers setup is kind of disgraceful. if you have watched any of this other guys videos i have torn him apart repeatedly for giving false information to people about gold and e-waste refining he just wants to sell books to chumps who think they can get rich quick. sad thing is the knowledge is free right here on youtube and on the www.goldrefiningforum.com lots of great info and knowledge on there for the home/ hobby refiner!
Can you get a custom mold from somewhere already remade to what you want? if so do you know a company that makes custom modes that you can recommend?

+Amadeo Serrano I use an Oxy/Acty setup With the Rosebud. I do up to 5 ozT, but I think I can do more then that, just not setup for that........

LoLz at the 1.4oz oxy tank. Just buy a map gas torch. The cost of the oxygen makes melting copper pointless. The fuel is worth more than the copper...
