I accidentally tried to make these once, yes I did say ACCIDENTALLY! How could that be? Well, I had never heard of these MACARONS and just thought it was misspelled for COCONUT MACAROONS! So I looked at the recipe several times and made sure I had all my supplies needed , i ordered the Silicone sheet to pipe the batter on but couldn’t figure out why I really needed such a tool. I was really trying to figure out how to make COCONUT MACAROON COOKIES FOR MY GRANDSONS BIRTHDAY WHEN THE RECIPE DIDN‘T CALL FOR COCONUT! I just kept going on following the recipe without even a drop of coconut flavor. This was my Grandsons Birthday wish. Boy did I feel terrible! I had know idea what I was doing but it had the nice foot on almost all of them like what the picture showed so that was good. So now I know the TOTAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO TYPES OF COOKIES.! I have tried making them one more time but was not at all successful. So now I just use the silpat with the circles to make other things like MACAROONS, THE COCONUT FLAVORED ONES!😅😂👩🏻🍳 andI know my Grandsons all Love.me, even though he didn’t get exactly what he asked me for. I did however make him his Dr Who cake with the Phone Booth & he & his friends were all excited to see that come to the table!!
I love watching your videos very much. I wish I had nothing else to do but Bake but my 81 year old Mum requires most of my time. She has Severe Dementia and has to be watched 24/7.. I. Could not imagine her not being here with myself & my Brother. Thank you for your commitment to us . It allows me to relax a Bit.

Yes, she's using the whisk. And yes, there's always a chance of overmixing. Not for her, but for us. If you want to try, maybe do it first with a hand steel whisk. You have more control that way.

Love this! I get great macarons with your recipe but I keep getting crumbly feet, do you have any idea why that might be happening?
원래 마카롱은 아래에 뭔가 구멍같이 있고 위에는 껍질처럼 있는 건데 그냥 스콘처럼 구워졌어요ㅠ 크랙이 있고 위로 부풀었다가 가라앉지가 않아요ㅠㅜ계속 부풀어있고ㅠ대체 뭐가 잘못된 걸까요?ㅠ머랭은 잘 됬는데 마카로나쥬가 적게 된 건지ㅠ

She uses teflon sheets. She's said elsewhere that her circles are 4.5cm, but these special Halloween ones might be larger. Maybe she'll come here and say.

Oh my gosh , such good techniches those mac are terrific,,, , and please if I can have a question , I have read the sub and watched carfully but still, so after piping-you preheat to 120- turn off-put the tray in- preheat again, until the 120 again,, so your drying only took 4 or 5 minutes????
As she shows in the video at 14:00, the oven drying takes 2-3 minutes. But her oven is much better than the ones 'normal' people use. Mine will never reach 120C again with the door open so I just keep the oven on for 2 minutes before closing the door and turning up the heat.

There are macaron templates available online. Circles, hearts, others. But not the fancy ones she created herself.
