When you two went to enjoy the sunrise together and the magical music was playing, I thought for sure you were going to announce to the world that you and Raya were in a wonderful relationship... then the milk product placement popped up out of nowhere and it felt like someone played the record-scratch sound effect.
I'm such a night person that I'm not usually up for sunrises, so the few times I have experienced them have been some of my favorite life moments. Thanks for sharing this one.

***** I went in October, this past year. It's so beautiful! Just a tip from one traveler to another, it's so cold in October! At least when I went it was, i know the weather app can be deceiving sometimes so i wanted to tell you. Definitely pack layers and jackets.
Laska N I've noticed the same. it focuses more on the background in some shots and slightly blurs the faces. Sucks cause I was thinking about buying that camera. Hopefully he can just fix it with the proper setting though.

If you're looking for more places to explore, you should consider going over to Queens! Astoria is really nice and the view of the sunset from Astoria park is beautiful!
Louis! Next time you come to california, I HIGHLY recommend visiting a coffee shop in oakland called bicycle coffee. We work closely with them at my work and their coffee is AMAZING. Plus, it is a family owned business not some corporate place. Its great. Hope you get the chance to go there.
If you get to go to Birdland you're going to love it, although it's not always jazz so be aware of that. The talent is always amazing though. One place that I absolutely love is Rockwood Music Hall on the Lower East Side. Free live music every night of the week on 2 different stages. I've been there many times and have never been disappointed. I would highly recommend it.

It definitely is. There are always so many things to do and, despite what people think, you don't have to spend a lot of money to do them. I pride myself on vlogging about exciting but accessible things in nyc.
Great Vlog Louis! Up to catch that sunrise was special! The sun @ the end with the penny board view awesome it dose line up the NewYork Manhattan grid! I remember being up all night in NewYork on July 4th weekend.....this was back in 78! Well that visit was cause I was a model and was to New York often! But I have photos of the city waking up and standing in the middle of Broadway @ 4:30, 5 am and there was no cars anywhere really rare! And quite! Peace brought back awesome memories for me! Also, if you're looking for something interesting and new to do one evening, might I suggest trying to go see the Broadway show Amazing Grace? It's brand spanking new and I just saw it the other day and really enjoyed it myself. They may also have rush tickets that you can get a couple of hours in advance for like $30, so it's super affordable. cheers.
Oh my goodness I was at Pier 13 the other day when I was on holiday in New York and New Jersey! It's so nice, and you can see the Chrysler Building too :D

Awesome video as always. Only thing I've noticed with the RX100 is the focus seems to be a little off in a lot of the clips - background is focussed rather than foreground. Should I avoid this camera and settle for G7X?

Great video, but it seems the Sony isn't in focus as often as the Canon G7X.
I wonder if face recognition is on? Maybe if Louis registers his face in the RX100 it would help also.
Why Sony doesn't add a touch screen I just cannot understand. I guess they have to leave something to upgrade next year for the RX100 V.
