Oh my , this takes me back to when I was 16 on a Friday night ..
Greatest artists osmond brothers i'd remember very my adolescence with them. I saw your t.v show her in Perú.
I saw an interview with Marie saying that she was 105 pounds here during the Donny and Marie show. The producer took her outside and threaten her to lose 10 pounds or she'll lose her job. She then lost 10 pounds and weighed at a sickly 95 pounds. She is very thin here but can't imagine what she looked like after losing the weight. She kept this a secret from her family for a long time.
What a jerk. She didn't need to loose any weight. She is such a beautiful lady.
It's to bad they treated Marie, Susan Dey, and many other young women as if they were fat. I remember my friend and my self were devistated when we topped over the 100 pound mark. I think there was a stigma that men were supposed to be bigger in stature than woman. Marie had to look petite in comparison to her brother who is small stature himself. God forbide you should wear the same size jeans as your brother or boy friend. People were thinner back then lot's of pressure on women!

I remember i use to rush home just to watch the Donny and Marie show brothers being brothers they use to get in trouble by my mom all the time for switching the chanel on me

What was best about D&M show back in the seventies was not the music or comedy skits but the banter between D&M.
