My boyfriend bred his leopard geckos and we incubated and hatched 4 females. He kept 2 and I kept two as well as him already having 2 females and a male. His 3 original ones are called Nessie, Noel and Nancy and his 2 babies are called Nea and Nira and my 2 babies are called Nova and Nora. If you couldn't tell, we stuck with the names beginning with N😂they're all really gorgeous and have amazing personalities and are really happy and healthy but growing up way too fast😭
I just got my new Leopard Gecko today and I am in love with him! His name is "Fedtmule" and it is the Danish name of "Goofy" from Mickeys clubhouse! He is just 4 months old and super adorable!!

Other things I wish I had known: ideal heat and humidity levels and sources, how to measure them accurately, and what clues might show you they aren't quite right. Also, the fact that at least some females will go off their food for extended periods (months) simply due to ovulation. I'm guessing you've covered these in other videos by now. THANK YOU!

I feel so confident in myself after watching this video. I have had my first gecko for about a year and a half and I recently decided to get a new leopard gecko so she can have a brother (definitely not and will not be housed together just having brief interactions through the glass). I don't know how old the baby is but he is definitely a small one, and when I saw this video on my feed I started to panic and worry I wasn't being the best father or that I forgot something. Thankfully, I passed all six of the trials and I am much more confident in raising my new baby boy. His name is Broly and my older gecko is Cheelai. I technically have a third one named Frieza but he lives with my bf. I get to baby sit him from time to time. Also, Cheelai is a tremper albino, Frieza is a mack snow leucustic (probably a giant too), and little Broly is a normal morph.

My baby leo is called Lusu (it's a cute derivation from the word spoon in estonian language). I named her after the little spoons that came with her calcium and vitamin supplements. It's strange because just before receiving her as a birthday gift, I bought myself a miniature spoon so now I have 3 of them laying around 😆

Geetings from Norway. This is my secound year having leopard geckoes. I got 8 babys this year. The babys that hatched at the same time i keep togetter. And got two that is in there own enclosure and i noticed the ones that are alone are very easy to bond with. But the couples are alot harder to handle and are much much more skittish or what ever the word for it is. And naming them i dont even know were to start i have 11 total. Also the couples compete about the food haha. So ive gotta be quick to feed both or they will steal the mealworms out of eachothers mouths.

I didn’t just get mine, he’s like a year old, but his name is Pascal! Also, I don’t think that sand is a good thing for leopard geckos in general. Even as adults I think it can still happen. It might not, but it also might so it’s just better to not take the chance. Especially bc they can’t really talk to tell you if anything’s wrong. Yes, in the wild they do I counter sand with dirt a lot of the time, but in captivity, they usually live a lot longer. So even if it is like that in the wild, we do these things to make their lives longer. Anyways, great video! See you next time! ❤️

Question: I bought an adult female leopard gecko, and placed her in a 24x18x12 enclosure to start with, as I'm sure she's been raised in a tub her whole life at the breeder. I'm having trouble getting her to eat consistently, even after leaving her alone for a few days. I have offered superworms and dubia roaches. I ended up holding her and bothering her with a small roach until she bit it, and then ate it, but that only worked twice. Now she's wised up and will only bite the roach. I tried offering her live bugs in a dish and they're untouched. She isn't losing weight, but I am concerned about her not eating. I only offer food every other day, sometimes every two days. I thought at first that she was snacking on her isopods, but she's now in a different enclosure that doesn't have isopods, and she is still not eating.
Is she eating yet? I’d upgrade her to a 36x18x18” enclosure or larger ASAP. Try other feeders. Live crickets, silkworms, and black soldier fly larvae can be fed regularly. Mealworms and hornworms can be fed occasionally. The more variety in their diet, the better.
My little boi is 15 years old, named Rascal (because he was a little rascal when we got him - running wildly around the tank at the slightest disturbance). He dropped his tail a few months after we got him (we never figured out why - I just came home from school and it was gone. We're pretty sure he ate it). Sadly it took us too long to figure out how to help him with the sheds stuck on his toes, so he no longer has any claws left, but that doesn't stop him from climbing wherever he wants to go whenever we get him out.

Hello. I have 2 amazing and beautiful geckos Lizo (the female one) and Vicko (male). For last 3 months my Lizo lost her appetite and don't want to eat anything. She also has eggs inside her abdomen. We feed her by pushing food to mouth, but we are not sure if we should do that or not. She lost 20 grams in last months. Can you help us with suggestions? The other one also had bad time, but now is absolutely active and eats well. I am so afraid my Lizo can die.
When should you transfer them into like a 20 gallon tank and I know when they are a baby you feed them every day but when they get up to six months is it when you feed them every other day or is it nine months

Amazing response . The only way mine can injest any is by accedentally grabbing some when grabbing some food. So I eliminate that by tong feeding

i named my first lepord gecko mango too I got it today
Question: I bought an adult female leopard gecko, and placed her in a 24x18x12 enclosure to start with, as I'm sure she's been raised in a tub her whole life at the breeder. I'm having trouble getting her to eat consistently, even after leaving her alone for a few days. I have offered superworms and dubia roaches. I ended up holding her and bothering her with a small roach until she bit it, and then ate it, but that only worked twice. Now she's wised up and will only bite the roach. I tried offering her live bugs in a dish and they're untouched. She isn't losing weight, but I am concerned about her not eating. I only offer food every other day, sometimes every two days. I thought at first that she was snacking on her isopods, but she's now in a different enclosure that doesn't have isopods, and she is still not eating.
Is she eating yet? I’d upgrade her to a 36x18x18” enclosure or larger ASAP. Try other feeders. Live crickets, silkworms, and black soldier fly larvae can be fed regularly. Mealworms and hornworms can be fed occasionally. The more variety in their diet, the better.
I named mine Pashto because Leopard Geckos are native in Afghanistan and Pashto is the language of Afghanistanians

My little boi is 15 years old, named Rascal (because he was a little rascal when we got him - running wildly around the tank at the slightest disturbance). He dropped his tail a few months after we got him (we never figured out why - I just came home from school and it was gone. We're pretty sure he ate it). Sadly it took us too long to figure out how to help him with the sheds stuck on his toes, so he no longer has any claws left, but that doesn't stop him from climbing wherever he wants to go whenever we get him out.
My geckos name is magnolia, or leo we don't quite know the gender yet but I call her/ him granola lol

Got a baby leopard gecko - called a snow breed - and she looks like a rainbow. Rainbow it is! The name fits to a tee too! Thank you for your great vid! BTW, I DO NOT NOT like reptiles but when I saw her I fell in love. $200 (and counting) later she's fitting right in. Little baby!

My daughter went w me to pick up a bearded dragon cuz...well...i wanted one. But when we got to the pet store my daughter begged for a Leopard Gecko, so i got one for both of us. Hers is Mojo, and mine is Kioko. They're both really cool and super easy to handle.

Hello. I have 2 amazing and beautiful geckos Lizo (the female one) and Vicko (male). For last 3 months my Lizo lost her appetite and don't want to eat anything. She also has eggs inside her abdomen. We feed her by pushing food to mouth, but we are not sure if we should do that or not. She lost 20 grams in last months. Can you help us with suggestions? The other one also had bad time, but now is absolutely active and eats well. I am so afraid my Lizo can die.

When should you transfer them into like a 20 gallon tank and I know when they are a baby you feed them every day but when they get up to six months is it when you feed them every other day or is it nine months

My leopard gecko is named Mango! It’s a baby and not comfy with me quite yet. I’ve had it a month and I try not stressing it out since it’s an anxious baby.
I got my leopard gecko almost eight months ago and her name is "Beta". I named her after Blue the raptor's baby from Jurassic Park! This video seems very helpful for first time owners, great job!
