Its funny but even if you use a photo as a kind of idea of what you paint I really enjoy the super fresh brushstrokes that make the painting process feel like a Dance improvisation. And it makes every moment so fresh, so aware - and in a way your painting become Los alive - you can feel the heaty beat - its a gift to be anledning to be so present in the process and catch it on a video 🎶🎨🎵♥️
Great video and absolutely gorgeous painting, Jane and Jane!! So much easier on the old eyeballs without the zooming in and out, so thank you, thank you! 😊 Congrats on your son's wedding, too. Happy holidays to you both, and thanks again for the great video! 🥰🎄❄️
Jane, congrats to the newlyweds. I love this style of painting so much and I can actually apply it to a painting like this but when it comes to large landscapes I'm bewildered. I'm doing a rather large painting of a red barn countryside scape. It's the underpainting of the red barn on red canvas thats tripping me up
Love your videos! I paint with acrylics and your videos help me loosen up. I have a tendency to over work and get tight with the painting. I’m constantly thinking about how you paint and slowly I’m getting more loose. I love it when you say don’t worry or fuss to much on making things perfect. I try to always keep that in my head when I paint!! Thanks so much for your advice and of course getting to see you paint!!🤗
Love your work - love the looseness but then as you have said once you get to that point work out how much more you like to do. Will definitely sign up for some classes soon :)
Is that the ocean I hear in the background of your videos? It is a wonderful background to your narrative. Thankyou for your generous and cheerful instruction. As someone else mentions... thank God for no music! 😅
Thank you so much for commenting. It is not the sound of the ocean. It is the sound of the AC. Since that was filmed, we have upgraded our sound system, and the "ocean" sound has disappeared. Maybe we should bring it back?
Hi Jane, I love your method and your paintings❤️. Just a question; is your paint always opaque or do you use grades of opacity/ transparency, in which case, when? It always looks opaque.
@@MarieSimon-n3x and sorry for the automatic mistakes because I tried to write in English to you but forgot to change the spelling from my normal Danish language - and that sometimes get really strange words - but your way of painting is so spontaneous and I feel the rhythm and the heartbeat and breath of your painting - you are so very present and it is just so inspiring 🎶🌺♥️🎵

Just paint the red barn anyway. When I have a red area, I over paint it with other shades of red. Just let it work for you.
I love this painting. Love your color palette in all your paintings
Thank you very much!
So glad you're back! Love this painting !

Джейн, твои картины - удивительные, кажется так легко можно рисовать их, но на деле это не так. Удивительное чувство цвета и светотеней.

Lovely! Why do you fill in the table cloth and background afterworths and not just after drawing. It seems so difficult this way?

I am usng Liquitex Liight Blue Heavy Body Acryclic paint.

Thank you for your feedback.
Can't you put the reference photo in a corner?
When I can, I do. but the quality on this reference photo was so bad, it would have been more frustrating for the viewer. Thank you for your feedback.
