- Get a first look into how you can use the Flynt Wordpress starter theme to create a website which is split into maintainable smaller components. This will allow you to get more professional at creating a theme and sites specifically for your customers needs.
Flynt gives you a great Developer Experience (DX) by combining a simple but rock solid setup of Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), Timber & Twig, Sass and Web Components with Javascript. It comes with hot reloading and a no-touch Webpack setup.

Thanks! Great introduction :)
Thanks so much for the feedback!
Project using Flint please 🎉🎉🎉
Very Useful. hope there is a more detailed guide for newbies like me. Thank you. Cheers!
Incredibly useful for evaluating the approach, thanks
Thanks a lot Thomas! Have you worked with Flynt or Timber before?
Thanks for that great video, Aaron!
Thanks for a great video outlining the basics. Could you do one showing how you’d setup your dev environment and build out a home page with styling?
Thanks for the feedback! Would love to do a hands-on "Create a simple website with Wordpress & Flynt". Takes quite a lot of time however so I am not sure yet ;-)
Thanks for video. It was good introduction to Flynt - explaned nicely the "component" logic in Flynt. Tho i don't like the CSS in JS thing :D But i understand why this is done like this - automated component handling.
@Kristjan thanks for the nice feedback! 🙌
With Flynt CSS is actually written separately from JS; I would also not like the CSS in JS approach ;-)
What is used is "Scss" - an extension for CSS to allow devs to use features like nesting, but you could also just write plain CSS if you prefer that.
