I respect you recognize this as a difficult haircut. This growth pattern and texture are 90% of my clientele. Too many coarse/curly barbers say my clientele is easy when in fact it presents its own challenges.

Fire cut Chris, but your skill and technique impressed me more than anything, you really gotta be skilled to get that right side blended the way you did. Years ago I had a Spanish client with the darkest hair, and as I was working his blend I realized he had the same type of indentation, killed me, but I worked it out. Great job dude, you are a master at your craft, every barber wouldn’t have been able to accomplish that!!💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💈

Saw similar cut in London on a fashion student. Longer at the back and cropped with blunt textured bangs, Caesar style as u say in USA. Had like a cm of the sides short at the back. Looked v cool and current.

My sheer work is definitely on par with yours. I cut in an old italian shop for a few years and honed my skills there. I’ve always done my clipper work on sides first. I’m gonna try the sheer work on top first.

Nice work but I just can’t get myself to go to any other barber than the one I’ve gone to in Quincy. I get a fade with a 1 n a 2 n I’m in and out within 15-20 min tops and it’s $20 with the tip. Can’t beat it especially when every where else is double the price and at lest an hour or more

Barber to Barber, respect! The blend was dope the fade contrast from lite to dark was a real good look. Their are many different was to do that look... I have to say something tho... Use those thinning shears in the dark areas of the fade jus a lil bit more. I'm very OC went it comes to fades. Lol #dmjfades Barbergang 💈
Wow this is so incredible! My husband has the almost the same growth pattern except it goes forward instead of straight back with some curls. I tried following your drop fade video on him but i couldn’t get the side the weird hair growth to blur out but this really helped. Wish we were still in Tampa so you could do his hair. But I agree that it looked a lot better when you went back over it and that neckline was perfect

Use some hair tonic. That almost always works. It degreases the hair and you can get a clean cut without destroying your clippers and scissors
Faraz Ali at my shop we always wash them before if it’s really bad them blow dry or I wash after if it’s not as bad.
I agree with the shampoo before the cut, I feel it leaves the hair clean nd it will fix the " hat hair" if there wearing one before they get a cut.
