Salah is putting together one of the best seasons in this games history, win the prem with Liverpool and there’s no doubt to what is the single greatest season in league history.
Even as a Liverpool fan that's hard to say when Haaland broke the scoring record and won the treble in his first season. That's a season basically impossible to beat
@@shekel2356 honestly with the way liverpool have been dominating I don't think it's VERY unlikely. Salah is definitly gonna get an all time g/a if the season continues, and an english double or even treble with the prem, fa cup and carabao cup is very realistic. In any case I think mo's season will definitly be in the discussion for best pl season oat.
@julianverweij1637 Yeah I agree with you, maybe I don't consider a treble, domestic or otherwise, likely at this point in the season but I'm a bit of a pessimist. If Salah smashes the all time g/a and we win a treble I think that arguably a better individual season than Haaland I agree

The fog looked worse on TV then it did in the stadium. Unfortunately we conceded another early goal, the problem is gonna be when the opposition gets a second & has something to protect. Gakpo's goal was so important coming right on the stroke of half-time.
Thought Curtis was off his game in the first half, was finding decent positions but not doing anything with it, and the crowd were getting frustrated with him. Turned it around and was much better in the second half, and got the standing ovation too
Mo Salah is simply embracing the British culture of Christmas for his kids sake.. they will want to celebrate Christmas just like their friends probably will or their school will.. why can't he celebrate it too?
Because he is a Muslim and it is his duty to teach his kids. Us Muslims just simply need to remind him of that. I get it some took it too far. God will deal with him. Simply reminding him is enough to fulfill our duty as fellow Muslims. Ultimately, it is his decision. And he will bear the consequences. I believe if we can't invite others to join us, it's fine. Just don't put them off with our actions.
@@Wigttttt what? He's celebrating it as a secular holiday (which it is for 90 percent of the UK). Is he not allowed to celebrate new years eve too? Also if you think Salah has put people off Islam rather than being a great representative of Muslims....then your an idiot. Comments like the one you've written is what put people off Islam.
I love that this season a lot of our players are now way more confident in using their bodies and turning players on the spin and taking lines of players out of the game.
Loz channelling in his inner Becker🧔 God, you guys are good. Utterly menacing, frightening going forward. An agonisingly mirroring portrait of what we once were. Slot's aligned himself with the football club & the fans love the sight of him. Special feeling, one we envy
Watching that first half it reminded me of something we used to do in my playing days. For the first 20-30 mins of a match we would do nothing but launch crosses into the opponents box. But this was designed to push the opponents defense deeper and give them a false sense of security. So when we actually started to play our normal game we'd get that half yard of space to get shots off in and around their box. It surprisingly effective how quickly a defender can subconsciously start to expect certain actions.
Leicester tried sitting on the 1-0 lead (kept to the defensive block) but there was just too much time for Liverpool to work them out and break them down.
Agree with you, we let in some weak goals in certain games, I suppose Slot will have a full understanding of what he will have to change completely or what players may need change in the defence come summer, with a full season under his belt in the Premier League.
Nice perspectives across the board here. A note on the goals conceded this season... we only conceded 8 goals in our first 13 PL games before Konate got injured, then in the following 4 games without him we have conceded 9... that Konate, VVD pairing really turns our back third into a fortress, luckily we are so versatile and prolific atm we haven't had to worry.
strangely I wouldn't blame Joe Gomez for any of those goals the Madison goal was Virgil turning his back and he wasn't even standing in front of the goal Gomez coming across effectively blocked off the right side of our goal Madison only had one place to put it, I don't know why Ali was flat footed with Macca making an unforced error and Virg and Ali not covering themselves in glory, it was crap defending all round
@@seth1455 yeah agreed Seth, Joe is playing well and not blaming him. I think it's more missing Konate across those 4 games... as he was having a stella season thus far, a couple of close to MOTM performances and basically been equal to VVD at a minimum.
If Nunez can time his runs a bit better his numbers would be vastly improved right? Wasn't he also an option on the left? If we rest Gakpo and Diaz im curious to see what the front line does
