@@alexfirst7613 Hi Alex! thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I’m always trying to find the best mix between simplicity/easy and comfort/quality. More to come! Cheers!
Great new video! I always appreciate the different kit you bring for your videos. The OCU grill looks intriguing to me. Curious how you like it. Also, the image quality on this video is noticeably improved. New camera gear? How do you like your Deity mic equipment?
Thanks for the love! I've only used the UCO grill this one time. it's the smallest size that they offer (of 3), good for one person/meal. It worked well for me, it's the perfect size folded to fit in my saddle bags and is exactly the right size open to fit 3 of the formed/high performance charcoal that I generally bring 4 of. Starting with High Desert video (previous to this one), I traded the Sony A6400 for a Lumix g9 main camera, the dji spark to dji air 2 drone (huge upgrade), and added an insta360 x3 360 camera to the mix. The deity mics have done me well in general, though I never tried a rode. The mini deity is good for the price. only gave me a little unwanted feedback when I was using the DJI Pocket 2 with the wifi enabled in the beginning. however, the d3 pro is noticeably better, more crisp, better at distance, the powered low cut features take out most low end feedback and I like having the external gain vs needing to adjust in camera. Seemed better cost benefit than the rode alternative. Though if cost is not an issue, most people seem to use the Rode counterpart.
@@GRiNGO-ADV Thanks brother, I really appreciate all of the detail. It appears I need to do some additional research before I make a purchase. Again really appreciate your take on the equipment you’re using. I am looking forward to more new videos with your new gear!

Don't speak Korean. However, I am aware that there is a camping culture in Korea, Japan, etc. Therefore, I use some hashtags. TH-cam selects at random which 3 they put next to the date on my videos.

Was beginning to wonder if you were OK. Nice to see you posting again. Try not to melt.
Hi David! Thanks for the comment. Some life changes limited time available to spend on YT vids, but other than that, all good. Appreciate the concern!
