- Space Walk is a trekking trail 333 meters high with 717 steps in total. Curved steel frame with bright lightings portray the symbol of Pohang "the city of steel and light".Visitors can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view of the city and factories, as well as enjoy amazing sunsets and sunrises.

😮😮😮 I felt butterflies in my stomach with this huge staircase that looks like a roller coaster but without the bars.
At first I thought it was an optical illusion of some kind but nope you have to turn back.

yeah, ultimately makes it kinda pointless beside being interactiive art. I'd hate to see it when it's really busy.
@PseudoFiction I wonder more so how much the cost of it was and where did the funding come from? There's so much of this stuff that cities all over spend ludicrous amounts of money on. I understand the tourism aspect but I wouldn't be planning a trip to this but would go and check it out if I saw it was near by.
@@reptilionsareherePohang spent nothing on it. It was a gift to the citizens and tourists from a local steel processing company.
It looks like a roller coaster. It looks pretty fun to walk on. It. Kind of reminds me of going on a roller coaster like at an amusement park which is really cool 😃

Thanks for this! I saw the Space Walk in pictures but never had the chance to experience it. The one thing missing is a path from one side of the loop to the other, so that walkers would not have to backtrack.

Hi Nathan; I hope you and Jennifer are well. I have never seen a place like this before in my life or even heard about it. Thanks to some commentators, I will have to watch a drama!! You are amazingly fit to take a heavy camera with you and then walk the stairs. I am curious, did anyone complement you on doing this while they were there? The views were something special. For the loop, do you walk upside down, or are you strapped in a harness? I think if it started to rain, it would be scary up there. I hope they would come and get you. They probably tell you that before you go up. I admire you even more, how many more skills do you have? Take Care!
