@@StrategicTestPrep I had about four vocab questions in the second module (I scored 750 R/W and 800 Math). I was shocked by the difficulty of them. I didn't know about 50% of all the vocab words. In contrast, my friend who took it on the same day as I did and in the same testing centre internationally here got only one vocab question, which he personally found quite easy. I suppose there is quite a lot of variability.
Not a particular question for english but just sort of the fact that every reading comp problem in module 2 was so dense and so scientific. Like it’s one thing to answer these questions when they are normal texts, but when they throw at you random scientific discoveries and so many scientific words you’ve never seen before it’s harder to comprehend what the text is saying. It wasn’t impossible to interpret it, it was just more-so the fact that it was harder to get it first try, which led to me rereading it and thus wasting time.
I’m eager to hear reports about the scoring. How can a non-standardized test be normalized? Each test had different questions at different levels of complexity.
I agree with the comparison question too, I had under 5 minutes left so I kinda half guessed. also, the vocab was kinda hard smh, it took more time than I expected. some were simple vocab but I wasn't sure which choice was the best for the context. but the math was def harder according to my math-genius peers (btw I'm an international student in Taiwan atm), hopefully we get a good curve lol... cuz it was so hard for what🥲 (another thing... why are so many universities requiring test scores again😭😒, it's so unfair for the class of 2025😐😅) but I'll work harder for sure, your videos really helped me!! thank u❤
@@elyse812 I do not remember it very well and if I did, I wouldn't really be able to share what it was because that is prohibited by Collegeboard and they could cancel my scores. Sorry about that!

Overall for the Digital SAT. I thought module 2 for math was more difficult than usual compared to Module 1 since some of the questions weren't similar to the practice questions.
as an international student, i had the sat last year twice, and they provided us 3 scratch papers. but this year we got only one, and it wasn't enough for me. i asked for one more paper, but they didn't give me. i got too stressed because i was running out of time and had no empty space to take notes on. i was seriously confused and mad at the same time.
yes damn itc i had the same issue ???? omg my proctor was so unprofessional, she even droped the clock amid the test and it was soooo annoying .... The test module 2 was toooo long and I was only provided with onely one scratch paper?? omg
I just took the digital SAT today and I would say the vocab was pretty difficult, but I would say when you get a couple bullet points of notes and then understanding what the notes are saying and what they’re asking on the SAT was pretty difficult. but for the math, I would say I use 40% of Desmos on it but some of the time I forgot how to use Desmos with inequalities and when it came to the unit circle, I had the hardest time with that part of the test.
Any tips for the 4-5 questions on RW M2 that come right before the grammar questions? They usually ask weaken/support conclusion, hypothesis, or logically complete the text questions
how to crack the question that include what would author of passage A most likely disagree or emphasize? I am preparing for the may sat and i don't know how deal with this.
These are fairly straightforward. Take advantage of the annotate tool and restate exactly what each other is saying, and why they believe that is the case. Then, you can look for differences between them. I know this explanation was brief, so if you'd like, we can exchange discord/Instagram and I can walk you through practice problems.
finished reading with 10 mins left, they let me go to the bathroom and I went for the 10 mins cause I had to poop real bad. also I used desmos for 90% besides like 3 geometry questions; I actually did not use my paper once the only thing i wrote was my name to submit it.
what i don't like about it being digital is that i feel like it punishes you for doing good on the first half because it gives you harder questions on the second half
Typically when they ask about standard deviation, you want to recognize frequencies in the data set. If concentrated to one or two values, deviation is lower than if more spread out. Does that help?
this is dumb (and a time waster if you're slow at typing) but in desmos you can do stdev(1,2,3) and if you forget you can open the little keyboard in desmos and it shows every statistics function
@StrategicTestPrep Thank you, but that doesn't help, because in the question I got they gave me two data sets but one variable in one of them. They had the same standard deviation, and I had to determine what should be the value of the variable T.T
I heard sum where that people who did good on Module 1 are the ones who are gonna score higher . Module 1 was considered tough for me (but its not like i didnt know anything) and 2 was easier .Does that means I am gonna fail?
Hiding a timer is probably the worst advice you could give to a test taker. Please don't ruin your students' scores with your terrible take! You always must be aware of your time how much you left and whether should you rush or not, especially on the harder second module where you might think that it'd be as straightforward as the first one, but eventually you won't even know that you've spent more time than you should've which leads to panic and etc etc. That's WHY YOU MUST NOT HIDE YOUR TIME!
I see you feel very strongly about this. It is our philosophy that we support and customize strategies for our students that help them excel on test day. Some students experience more anxiety watching a clock tick down. Are you a tutor early in your career, by chance? As you continue to work in this field and grow and evolve, you will develop more of an open mind.
@@StrategicTestPrep I am an international student but I've studied with lots of friends and took the DSAT 4 times after every exam I've discussed it with other students and friends and 95% of them share the same opinion as me about hiding a timer.
