American Patrol - the Almost In Time Dixieland Jazz Band

The format of "American Patrol", meant to make you think of a military band on parade approaching, passing, and fading away into the distance, may make many of you think of Beethoven's Turkish March. But for some unfathomable reason, Beethoven didn't incorporate little musical quotes from "Columbia, the Gem of the Ocean," "Dixie," and "Yankee Doodle" into his work, the way F. W. Meacham did in this nifty little number!
This take features Frank Ransley, trumpet; Glenn Nielsen, clarinet; Lynda Wright, tenor sax; Autumn Leonard, trombone; Quinn Leonard, tuba; Sara Siegmann, piano; Dave Rabbach, drums; and Nancy Walsh-Boeder, spiffy in a white hat, on vocals.
