i actually loved the other one more, the cutesy vibe of strawberry fabric clashed so well with the vinyl corset, its definitely a look! tbh both were amazing

i think you should add fabric to the miniskirt at the bottom with the strawberry layered on top of the other pink fabric you were thinking of using for the sleeves. not only will it add length to the skirt but it would make it match the top with the sleeves on it. so it would have a puffy pink and strawberry bottom rim to it

If you need to iron fake latex what you do, is you put a cloth paper down a piece of cloth down you put the fabric sticky side down and then put tissue paper on top and iron it from the back very lightly and low setting you can even use a little bit of steam, but for the most part just keep it on the lowest setting
It feels like yesterday when you were using hot glue to "sew" clothes and now you're a true seamstress. Great inspiration. 🌷

✨💖✨I cannot believe how our beautiful Mia doesn’t know that she could be a runway model. She owned that mini! It was adorable on her. I do love how her corset with strawberry sleeves turned our. The sweetheart strawberries with the bad gal vinyl made a cute combination. Mia will succeed at anything she puts her mind to-sewing, crochet, decorating. The girl is a powerhouse.
Or.. create a clothing line of her own and have it 'Runway-modelled' 🥳🥳🥳

i think you should use maybe little hook-and-loop fasteners, like for the top of a dress zipper, to make the sleeves easily reattachable! then you get two tops :)

Mia is getting so good at making clothes. She needs to do another video tricking her mom - or do one where she replicates a piece and mama maples has to figure out which is store bought and which is Mia made.

I think a functioning corset would’ve been the best route, like a lace up corset that tightens in the back. It would’ve solved the baggy issue and you wouldn’t have had to put in a zipper even though you did save the original zipper.
The sound of Mama Maples's laugh is EVERYTHING💖 She's just too wholesome and heartwarming for this world! We must protect her at all costs!!

Definitely keep the sleeves - I personally prefer that version of the outfit.
Girl both variations are a vibe! I'm torn cause I love oversized sleeves but I also love a layered moment and you're killing it in both as always. Make the sleeves detachable and you'll have the best of both worlds haha 💕
I just made a similar comment and suggested adding a couple ruffles to the skirt as well

I think the layered look could still work with her style as is but styled with some baggy mom jeans. The pearl necklace she wore with it pulled it together and gave Mia style vibes.

I'm so impressed by your sewing journey. Both versions are fabulous but I personally love the juxtaposition of the soft feminine strawberry sleeves with the baddie latex. I might consider adding a second layer of plain pink tulle to the sleeves to make them a bit more substantial.
I don’t think I will ever understand how to sew sleeves onto clothes but you give me hope!! This is incredible, it’s so beautiful to watch how you started and where you are now!!

Mia your sewing is getting so much better! For sticky fabrics like that use a vinyl/leather foot and if that still sticks you can place parchment paper on both sides. Slides through easily like that and you just rip the paper off after!
And tape to hold pieces together not pins bc they make holes!
A teflon foot is really helpful too!

I am recently rewatching Mia's old videos (for some reason videos from 4 years ago reappeared on my feed) and at first I thought this was one of those since I do remember that dress from a video 4 years ago. I am very pleasantly pleased to see her revamp and reuse the dresses she had. What a resourceful queen. Love her

The baddie moment was a vibe but my personal favorite was the strawberry sleeve. Just looked like more outfit opportunity and more genuinely comfortable.
Tbh I rly rly adore the 1st one!!! There’s just something about the white button down, well made corset top, and cute lil badass micro skirt that make me love it!!!

They are PVC, PU, or Vinyl... If you wear latex or on of these materials you know the full differences...
Edit: I've work with this material.When sowing with material I recommend having the right foot or, but you can also get cheap felt that has a sticky side and put it on the foot and the other places where the material will slide over.
One more thing if you want to get the wrinkles out use a towel just steam down the garment and then place a towel down and use no heat while pressing the iron.

For future reference, even seeing vinyl use tissue paper on topand bottom to keep the needle from sticking, then just tear it off.
Both of the outfits are beautiful! They sure give off different vibes but none are bad vibes at all. I love both

This is one of the times where i tilted my head, but with you, Mia, I have learned to trust the process - Revamp two with the sleeves is bomb and I love it. I didnt think it would look right and then you wore it and I was like well damn that came out way different than in my head so WOOT for you :D I love this one
it looks so good mia!!! i really like the juxtoposition of the two fabrics. also you should try layering tehe micro skirt over a slightly longer skirt it might be cute, or even in another revamp video you can add to it, maybe adding the tully ruffles from the strawberry dress to the skirt?

imo, the sleeves make it cute and girlie. Without the sleeve, kind of just looks like a vest or giving that vibe.
