Have had the XMR for 2 months now. Loving it. Power steering is real smooth, loving ITC & Dif lock functions. Great they added the LED lights and Low gear. Can am put together a real nice ride, the stock tires are wicked to go along with the relocated RAD. Can’t go wrong for the price either.
I have watched this guy for years I have raised 4 kids and never have had the money to get a toy to play with but now that my kids are all older maybe a few more years and I will be able to afford a 4 wheeler!! I want to ride so bad with my wife I love these two and live vicariously through them!! Braaaaap

I did’t get the XMR but just got the Pro HD7 XU and fell in love with it in about three minutes of riding it! I’m not a big mud guy anymore but I’ve been driving it like a sport quad and even jumping, and clearing, table top jumps with it…lol. It’s actually handles jumps very well but I know the pro’s shocks are sprung a bit heavier. No, it’s not a big v twin but for my mostly deep woods, east coast riding its perfect and a lot of fun!
The XU is the best “mid range” all around ATV for the price. It’s not even close imo. You gan get a better overall package in a big twin (850-1000cc), but you’re looking at almost double the price.
@@ostacruiser yeah the motors are good rest of bike cheap built garbage I’ve tried a XMR700 and some parts are still pretty cheap and it broke after a few rides.
That holds RPM so well in the thick stuff - really impressed. People were worried that it wouldn't match up to the 570 V-twin but those had NO torque so I like the comparison to the 650.
This is all the bike most of us need. Worked great in those holes. Would be interested to see how much less fuel this single uses versus the twins. The ACE engines in Ski-Doos are unreal on fuel.
@@JoshuaOvermanwrong, Can Am’s are the most reliable when pushed to the max. We race Gncc and it’s all Can Am, once in a while you might a grizzly but the frames break when pushed to the limit and they don’t handle.

The easy removal side panels should be a nice touch. The outlanders and renegades got to be a bit of a pain when they went to the g2 chassis. Have you guys been up in fort a la corne near you since the big wind storm? Been thinking about coming across to the north side one day and going in the west end of division road again. I know on our side of the river the bush really took a beating in the wind though lots of trails are closed yet due to trees across.
I think if people compare it to what its designed to compete with in other companies they will be pleased. I think can am is going after the Grizzly and king quad market. I believe they nailed it and will likely get some new riders from the competition. Ive been looking into can ams and think im pulling the trigger.
I have been thinking about getting the new 700 xmr. But I like the twin cylinders better I think. Not sure but this video may have convinced me to go ahead and get one

Awesome video! I’m impressed with that quad! We’ve had the twin for so long I was skeptical about the single but after this video I’ll say that’s definitely a decent substitute for the twin. We’ve got the 570 max with a rad relocate kit from RDC the 850 w/ the same rad kit and a 650 renegade that I’ve done a little bit to it. Lucky seven rad kit, 850 spring and a fuel tuner. It’s my favorite quad …. For now anyways. We’ve been thinkin about gettin a 850/1000 xmr but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Waiting for our boys to get a little older/bigger so they can ride the ones we have then we’ll possibly upgrade if they’re still interested in riding ….. we shall see!

This yrs winner in 4x4C started with a grizzly then switched to a Can-Am and says theirs no comparison, it allowed him to win the series after trailing. No comparison under racing conditions, that’s why they dominate Baja, best in the desert, Paris to Dakar and all grueling competitions.

Nice machine. I think they definitely deserve a look for anyone not into the larger cc machines. Despite the frustration that many expressed, I think these new 500/700s on the new chassis is a huge step forward from the g2l lineup it replaced. I am curious about those tires though, they look like a decent 28" mud tire. Curious if they're true to size and how light or heavy they really are

It's a great 2nd machine, I would never get rid of my twin. That's me. This is the oerfext machine for farmers, ranchers, trail riders and hunters though
Hello bro, I'm about to buy an XMR 700 and I want to ask you if you have had any mechanical failure of any kind. I read on TH-cam that this ATV has a squeaking noise in the clutch or also a squeaking belt. Have you had that problem with your XMR700?

@@JoshuaOvermanYamaha sucks. I had a new a R-max 1000 and it had a ticking in the engine since new and Yamaha won't do nothing about it. Same with my brothers Yamaha X2 side by side. Weak transmission and weak axles=JUNK.
Im not buying the whole we spent more, to make a better machine that costs less... If that was the case it would still be a twin not a single cylinder I think Can am is going to lose some customers if they phase out the Twin cylinder machines too much
@@Morpheen999 I agree but the “700” isn’t in the same catagory as the 650. It’s supposed to be a cheaper option to the v-twins. It’s competition is the 45ish hp class. 750 king quad, 700 grizzly, 570 Polaris.

Don’t understand the move for Canam. Enter a segment they have never been in with a single. Canam has always been about performance even in their more budget friendly rigs (570 + 650). Now they offer a machine with poor reliability and similar performance to the market leaders in single cylinder machines in Honda and Yamaha. For me if I’m buying single, it’s a no brainer and not canam. This coming from a guy on a 650. At least they look cool hahaha

I just switched from a 420 irs to the 700xmr and I don’t regret it at all. Everything about the can am so far is better, the ride comfort is amazing

Seems like that lower gear did it's job ,it didn't bog down at all when you went through that mud all 3 times, have you tried the skeg with it yet

They are the speedmaster waders and boots. You will absolutely love them for hunting! I wore mine moose hunting and loved them

All brands have problems I has a can am 2012 with 17000 miles on it tires belts and oil and fuel pump but that's it !

Mine takes in water into the belt and I keep having to drain it , and I’m not going even near the snorkels
The seal is probably damaged or just not seated properly on the clutch box
If the belt cover is nt the trouble, check the intake and exhaust pipe collar for the cvt. Mudpuppy has a good video where he show that
