Envision feels like a quintessential onewe song to me, which is maybe surprising because it's the first song where harin wrote the largest part of the lyrics and melody (he had contributed before). I often go back and forth over what my favorite Onewe song is but then I listen to Envision again and I know with absolute certainty that this is it. Envision is the first song Harin has primary writing and composition credits for and it was created during a time where he felt like he was trapped in an endless cycle of sleeping at the dorm and then going back to the company to spend all day locked in their low-ceiling, windowless, claustrophobic practice room. The result is a song that perfectly captures the yearning for things to get better when things are starting to feel hopeless and the optimism that they absolutely will. It's a song that's grown to mean a lot to me and makes me hopeful that we'll get more Harin productions in the future.
