I havent played since forever but if i remember correctly, if you use bow you suffer alot from less attackspeed. Using two handed weapons inately decreases your aspd, by using dagger, its easier to reach max aspd without further investement resulting to more aspd thus having much higher chances triggering the spell. Theres also daggers that increaes magic unlike bows. So thats that
