  • Our first time traveling to Bahia de Los Angeles despite the Dept. of State travel warning. In San Felipe make sure you re-fuel, check your tires, radiator fluid, etc. Once you leave San Felipe, there is no cell signal!!!

Every place south of San Felipe is safe. I just would not drive it by night. Narrow Hwy.1, trucks and cows. All places along the Sea of Cortez are beautiful. Warm waters and a lot of fish. We prefer locations south of Mulege. Thanks.

You found a lot of my favorite place in Baja. Because of the lack of fresh water is will be a diamond in the ruff for a long time. I do not go to those places that play loud music. I cover my ears and walk away hopping they will get the message.

Love the raw vids, we're going in 2 weeks for a week, same cities, camping and such. Do you have a list of all the dope places to eat out there and any recommendations?

That La China’s taco joint, we had to go back 3 days in a row. And all the spots that we recorded, hope the restaurant names got mentioned. Safe travel!

Was just there 2 weeks ago. It was great. 3 nights there then 3 in Loreto then LaPaz. No homeless on the streets anywhere. It’s not exactly clean but feels much safer than parts of Los Angeles….

As someone who has traveled Mexico for decades and has never had anything really bad happen, I too can say it feels safe to me. My wife has the same sensation and guess what? It is safe until it isn’t. I’ve had two friends tortured and murdered, I know at least half a dozen women who have been raped. There isn’t anyone I know that runs a business that hasn’t been approached by cartels to be extorted. How many times have we all drank alcohol and driven without incident? Does that mean it’s not dangerous? All that said, I love Mexico and will always continue to spend a lot my time there. My point is don’t be stupid and say, “It looks safe to me.” Again it is until it isn’t and it isn’t if you don’t get that. Don’t be foolish.

Sinaloa =/= Baja. Those things are almost unheard of in baja outside cartel on cartel, which is still rare.

Fortunately there’s a space between my bike rack and the cargo box. Slide in perfectly. Tie down with ratchet strap for secure.

It's really a shame that the cartels and other criminals have to screw up such a wonderful and beautiful place like Baja and all over Mexico , feel sorry for the honest people who try to make a living and raise their families down there , and who count on tourist dollars to survive

    • @desert4seat

Yeah I know. It's a shame. The Cartels are awash in cash from U.S. sales of fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, & meth. If people in the US would just enjoy being sober, the Cartels would eventually die out.

Your trippin. Ain't none of that in Baja anymore. the military rooted them out long ago. Mexico don't depend on foreign tourists anywhere.
