I grew up on the Oregon Coast. My fam used to put on all of the festivals in Newport since the early 70s, ultimately leading to our masterpiece: the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival. I hiked the Oregon Coast top to bottom and will always have part of my heart there.
I just found your channel, and “watching Camper” is my dogs fav show now! She sees camper, gets super happy and excited, and grabs a toy to play with. The Oregon Coast is by far one of the most beautiful places to be. It's one of the top reasons I've relocated to Oregon all the way from East Coast. And if you're a Goonies fan, Cannon Beach and Astoria are an absolute must!
The great thing about living on the road for us is all of the cool things we get to experience. The hard part is not being able to share that with everyone you love in person. TH-cam helps us bridge that gap I think.
One of my favorite things about living in Oregon is going to the coast. Florence, Cannon Beach, Astoria, Brookings. It's all amazing!!! All the best to you and Camper.

I like to swim in the ocean. Here in NH the ocean is like ice water. I love south Florida ocean swimming, but I always wear a PFD and I won't go in unless children are further out. Sharks like tender meat just like we like tender steak.
I do hope, as long as you're in Florence, you experienced the majesty, the shear beauty, of The Exploding Whale Memorial Park. No trip to the southern Oregon coast would be complete without it. The waste water treatment plant adjacent to it is especially stunning in the morning.

Doesn’t matter how many videos I’ve watched. There is never a dull moment or scenery. I was an otr truck driver and have seen my share of beautiful sceneries and memorable moment’s and I love seeing someone else enjoying life’s adventure’s.

So fun! I absolutely love the Oregon Coast! I grew up on it, as my dad was a commercial fisherman! Nice to see all the places to camp and get free showers and good food along the way! Nice to have good friends to share it all with!
Spent 2 week on Ore.coast, hiked the dunes,drank beer at all the pubs.... the only downside for the next 6 months I was finding sand where I never thought I would find sand in my vech. but well worth the trip

You need to get back east to enjoy the peak of autumn. It's been quintessential Fall weather this year vs years previous. On your rig, it seems like too much space was devoted to the counters and stove area. Doesn't seem necessary to have a kitchen like that especially when you can easily have drop down counters, unless you plan on whipping up restaurant style cuisine but, at that point, you're getting into RV territory.
Jeeze, its hard watching your videos. My ex and I lived in Oregon and had a similar lifestyle where we always went everywhere... and then we got in a crash that eventually snowballed into her becoming a fullblown heroin addict after being on pain meds for so long due to the injuries. I miss those better days...
Just caught your channel. Thought I would give you a heads up. Oregon requires you have an Off Road Permit to be on the beaches, mountain trails ECT. It's a big fine if you don't have one. Also some of the beaches have extreme sand. Make sure you air down your tires. But don't get caught on the pavement with your tires aired down. $250. Ticket. Just came back from Depot Bay, Oregon. Spent a couple of weeks there. Did some hiking along the beach and some trails in the mountains. Love the Whales off the coast feeding in the Kelp Beds.

Charleston Oregon, High Tide Cafe has THE BEST, and I mean THE BEST clam chowder in Oregon! You'll find great chowder all over but I'm telling you it's literally life changing there.
You should come hit the NW part of the state. I just recently took a friend on a day trip to the coast from St. Helens Or. over the hills through Mist and onto Astoria on the old highways that no one uses anymore. No traffic, lots of County camping areas, the Nehalem River, all the old logging communities and the scenery is wonderful. I live on my sailboat in St. Helens on the Columbia River with my Siamese cat at a very nice marina. This is a great place for camping and hiking, I am a little over an hour away from the coast, Mt. Hood and the Columbia River Gorge. Granted we have the slum that Portland has become half an hour away but it is easy to avoid.

I am my loosing my interest in this channel. I used to dive for crab, moon snails. This isn't roughing it. I used to have a Toyota Tacoma. It gets 15 miles a gallon. Your setup is an apartment living on wheels. ..it speaks to a newer generation. I am a candlelight, roughing it 50 s guy . Your setup is too comfortable for me. When I was on vacation in Cape Cod, we did the exact same thing and used the showers that were on the beach to clean ourselves with shampoo and soap since it was there and convenient, also it was getting late too so that way when we got back to our camp site then we could just relax inside our camper and have dinner right away. Smart move!

The Oregon coast feels like some fantasy story. Never did manage to get used to it's incredible beauty in the 4 years I lived there.

I am my loosing my interest in this channel. I used to dive for crab, moon snails. This isn't roughing it. I used to have a Toyota Tacoma. It gets 15 miles a gallon. Your setup is an apartment living on wheels. ..it speaks to a newer generation. I am a candlelight, roughing it 50 s guy . Your setup is too comfortable for me. Remember, the sometimes uncomfortable moments, make the warm days more enjoyable. I wish I could have videoed my old adventures, it would have made this look like club med. Signing off

This lifestyle is glorified homelessness.. but the girl makes money thru youtube and knows what thumb nails to put in order to get the views. So glorified homelessness + the ability to generate some cash flow. Not a lifestyle for me but maybe for some millennials.
Thank you again for your adventure! I miss the Oregon coast. I lived in Beaverton, OR and i went to cannon beach all the way up to Astoria. I enjoyed the peace that the only the Ocean provides. I pray for Camper that his tumor is benign. Safe travels Nikki!

These videos are getting too silly and full of the kind of people I just don't care to see. Why watch her videos any more? I wish she would go back to the types of travels previously, in which she didn't include the various dudes and introducing other wild-hair people that just aren't appealing to see. I have been watching Nikki's videos to see her, not all the people she has recently been including.

Camper taking up the bed and not letting you make it, BED HOG! Reminds me of my pooch. They are good sleep buddies!! Warms the heart and body as well! This video was so much fun....how about those FREE outdoor showers?!!! Awesome!!!
When I was on vacation in Cape Cod, we did the exact same thing and used the showers that were on the beach to clean ourselves with shampoo and soap since it was there and convenient, also it was getting late too so that way when we got back to our camp site then we could just relax inside our camper and have dinner right away. Smart move!
