Thanks for the great review. I purchased the same setup for my upcoming BDR trip. Did you make or purchase the tie down brackets at the passenger footpgs? Where? Cheers.
Nah that would be fine, I'd recommend going with the "small" 22L top bag for the rear for the Honda. Keep it slimmer in the back. I actually run it now (the smaller bag) on the KTM. It's basically the perfect amount of space for a "just the essentials" camping set up.
@@OverPenAdventures thanks Man appreciated. Can’t tell and have never seen bags in person. Some people say it’s way to big and 40 is perfect but with top rolled up the side are probbaly only 10L per side. That won’t carry much. Maybe you might know this in the event that the luggage isn’t fully packed for example, does it still stay solid on the bike or maybe you can just take the top 22 L bag off and run the sides? It has different options, correct ?
@@TheZakkmylde yeah you can absolutely just leave the beaver tail strapped down with no top bag. I do it all the time. The side bags empty are a little floppy empty but not noticable while riding. I have done single track, technical rocks etc ..with them on and I don't even know they are there. I like having the extra space on to pack on the sides to keep the weight lower and minimize the top load but it just depends on how you want to pack. I'll do a video on what I put in each individual bag for you in the next few days.
A selfie-stick-thing-a-ma-bobber……I have one of those too 😂
The Tusk stuff is great gear.
Thanks for the run down.

Perun moto, excellent stuff. Good selection for the KTM twins
Thanks for the review
No problemo!
Woot. A new vid.
not an exciting one, but a one lol
Do you think it would be too big on a Honda 300L dual sport. 40 just seems little to small for moto camping.

At the end of the riding day, how difficult it is to remove the tusk panniers to the hotel room ?
I didn't stay in hotels so they stayed on the bike. But it takes about 5 minutes maximum to pull them off.
Could you ride two up with this system comfortably?
@@lankmd definitely possible, I have no experience doing so though.
I’m looking at these bags but wondered if they will fit ok . I have a 2007 r1200gs do you think they will fit ok ?
Yeah no problem with fitment
