Trolling Deep Creek Lake MD During a Busy Labor Day 2023

If you are going to kayak fish DCL on summer weekends, make sure it is early morning or late evening. The boats will knock you around during the day. I will try to get another trolling video in before the end of October.

How would you describe their habitat?

I saw various sizes. I caught a few for my son for bait that were around 4 inches. They are always around the weeds in the summer. Obviously you will see more when the water is clear/calm. Seems like there are more this year than ever.
