I miss when commercials were like this, actually told you about the product and were a fun escape into a fantasy world. Nowadays commercials try to pretend a normal conversation includes product descriptions and advertising spiels. Back in the day, they knew they were advertisements and they did their best to do their job. I'm glad I was born in 1993 so I can remember the 90's and early 00's.
The worst year of my life ! My mother passed away 3 days before mother's day and my stepdad committed suicide in the same week ! Damn ! Now I look back on it ! It made me strong as a man and don't take things for granted such as life !
I love how this one has the most nostalgic memories, which I love. Mine doesn't revolve around me as I wasn't born until December 2000. However, a few days before this recording, my parents were married!
19 years to the day. If only we knew what was in store. 9/11, endless middle eastern wars, the Great Recession and rising income inequality, very heightened political polarization. Some of the stuff makes me laugh too like the AOL and Cell Phone ads, and it’s pretty wild to see how far the internet has come since then.
I was about to start 5th grade. I remember seeing that gap kids ad, and my desperate-to-be-cool self NEEDING flared pants. Yeah, then I would definitely have friends!
I love commercials from the 60s 70s 80s 90s 2000s and even of this decade the 2011 to till now !! I never used to like them though as it took away from my shows but by them selfs they are great !Love them !!
This is a long shot, but maybe it'll work. There's a commercial I remember but can never find. It was around the year 2000 and ut spoke about the future. It said that children will be able to recite poetry in many ifferent languages and it said that we will be able to grow most of our crops on mars. That's the gist of what I remember, does it sound familiar to anyone? I know I heard it on the radio but I'm pretty sure I saw it on TV as well.
I was a 2010s kid i wanted to know what the 2000s are like so i searched this up and now i know what its like new Malcolm in the middle episode aires every Sunday and no widescreen and old commercials
Holy S there is a commercial that has been bugging me so much! I can't remember it, it was some lady in a red shirt and blonde hair, Idk why I remember that and it was like a spice commercial? she asks the waiter/cook? what it was and they started dancing and telling her? Does this sound familiar to anyone
I had just turned 15 that summer.. I remember a lot of these commercials, the nostalgia is overwhelming. Lol @ AOL.. good times.

I remember some of these commercials. It's hard to believe they will be twenty years old. It seems to me only yesterday people were talking about Y2K.
